1. Introduction
This document describes the format, layout, standard headings, etc. of optional papers submitted to the proceedings of iCubeSat, the Interplanetary CubeSat Workshop. To submit your paper, please follow the instructions in your acceptance email.

2. How to format your paper
Up to ten pages of English text including colour figures and tables can be included in your paper. We suggest a minimum of four pages.
Tables and figures should be included in the format demonstrated by Table 1. The table or figure caption should be at the bottom of the table or figure.

Table 1. The caption of your table or figure should be underneath and a maximum of two lines long.
3. Heading
Includes a title, list of authors, affiliations, submission date, abstract and keyboards.
3.1. Title
The title should be no more than two lines long when written in centered Times New Roman 14 point centered on the page.
3.2. Authors
Author names should be written as given name (in full) followed by the family name (written in full), in Times New Roman 10 point centered on the page.
3.3. Affiliations
Affiliations should include the name of the authors department, company or institution, and the city and country where the institution is based in Times New Roman 8 point italic.
3.4. Submission date
The date that the paper is submitted to the conference organizers should be written in centered Times New Roman 10 point.
4. Main text
The main text of the paper is written in justified Times New Roman 9.5 point text. Each paragraph should be indented with two spaces.
4.1. Introduction
Your paper should include an introduction section, a brief introduction to the subject matter of the paper.
4.2. Headings
Main headings should be in Times New Roman 9.5 point bold text with 9.5 point gap before and after the heading. Each heading should be numbered with a full stop immediately after the number. Sub-headings (one level only please) should also be numbered as shown by the heading of this section.
5. File format
Please provide the final text for publication as a Microsoft Word document and a PDF file. Please do not create bookmarks or set editing or printing security. Maximum file size of 20MB please.
6. Conclusion
Please finish your paper with a conclusions section.

An optional acknowledgements section can be included here.
