PART II. MAP: Use the chart in Part I to help you label the Ethnic & Religious Groups Map.

1. Choose a symbol to represent religion, location, and language.

2. Choose a color for each ethnic group (i.e., all ARAB information might be blue, whereas the ASHANTI might be green.)

3. Label which ethnic group is in each area on the map (i.e., “ARABS live in North Africa”, so you will write “Arabs” in the Sahara region of the map.

4. List the religion, specific location, and language in each area, with their appropriate symbol/color code. So, all of your religions will be the same color/symbol to indicate that is the religion for the ethnic group.
