The employee will lead and oversee the work of prisoner workers in maintaining electronic equipment. The technician may be called in to resolve any technical troubleshooting, modification, or fabrication of all security systems, computer systems, telephone systems, and/or highly technical equipment. Technician will be function as the recognized resource responsible to resolve all security systems, electronic equipment and technical equipment.15.Please describe the assigned duties, percent of time spent performing each duty, and what is done to complete each duty.List the duties from most important to least important. The total percentage of all duties performed must equal 100 percent.Duty 1General Summary of Duty 1% of Time50Maintain Facility Security SystemsIndividual tasks related to the duty.Design, modify and perform preventive maintenance, regular maintenance and emergency maintenance on the perimeter security systems, PPD system and other alarm systems, PA system, radio repeater, radio equipment and telephone system. Train staff on proper use of security systems.Supervise prisoners in maintenance and operation of electronic related or electro mechanical equipment.Duty 2General Summary of Duty 2% of Time35Maintain the security camera systems of the facilityIndividual tasks related to the duty.Perform emergency repairs, troubleshooting, and modifications of systems regular and scheduled PM on all exterior and interior cameras. Install, change locations or types of cameras. Maintain monitors, camera headend processors and DVR recording equipment.
