I believe college tennis would be an incredible opportunity for me to develop my tennis further and would provide me with chance to experience a new culture whilst still playing the sport I love. I am extremely competitive and that means you can be sure that I will fight to win no matter the situation, however, I have also learnt to be gracious in defeat and to view losing as a way to improving my game, rather than seeing it as a loss. I believe that I would be an asset on the team as I am very hard working and feel I would thrive in the college environment. I would represent both the school and myself proudly whilst striving towards achieving my goals; I would give everything my absolute best. I commenced playing tennis at the age of 6 in Southern Spain and I have been playing competitively since then. I spent my school year 10 at Inspiration Academy, Bradenton, Florida and was coached by Ashley Hobson.Presently back in Australia to complete my high school graduation, end 2018.My other sporting participation interests are Sailing, Soccer and Cricket.Tennis is my priority and chosen sport.Secondary Schooling:Secondary school: Wesley College, Perth and Inspiration Academy, Bradenton , FloridaGraduation date: 11th November 2018Academic achievement: Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) Academic Results SUBJECT YEAR 9YEAR 9YEAR 10YEAR 11YEAR 12 ** English CA - C CMathematics ApplicationsDB + C DScience C - C -HistoryB - B C FrenchB - -SpanishB - -Physical EducationB - B AMedia Production and AnalysisC - C C Business Management - BPolitics and Law - C -Economics Management and Enterprise - B -BiologyA - C -World GeographyB - -Year 9 Semester 2 attended at Inspiration Acdemy . ** Year 12 is yet to be completed year end 2018 The College is renowned for academic and sporting achievements. This compounded by the travel distance to the Eastern Sates means considerably less opportunity to enhance and improve your individual UTR ranking. The Australian UTR system doesn’t cater for or include results from the following competitions:Inter-High School District Club Pennants Junior State LeagueThe result being that you can play a person of a higher UTR ranking and win, but it is not registered or recognised. It is difficult to maintain a progressive ranking with limited opportunities as Year 12 graduation is the major focus this yearTennis & Current Activities:I am a regular player in the Junior State League Hensman Park Team. A competition that runs throughout summer and winter in Perth. Rhys Johnson, an Alumni of Vanderbilt University who received a full scholarship and was Captain of his tennis team, currently coaches me.I have also been having regular hitting with Zach Itzstein an Alumni of Eastern Kentucky University.REFEREES: Rhys McDougall: Head Coach of Play Tennis and Advanced Head coach at Mt Lawley tennis clubEmail – rhys@.auMobile - +61 401 873 440Roger Rasheed:ATP Coach Former coach of – Lleyton Hewitt, Gael Monfils, Jo-Wilfred Tsonga, Grigor DimitrovRhys Johnson:My coachAlumni of Vanderbilt University, playing number 1 and being captain during his time thereEmail – rhys.johnson711@Mobile - +61 408 884 645Zach Itzstein:Hitting partner Alumni of Eastern Kentucky University Mobile - +61 403 867 498Ashley Hobson:Head coach at Inspiration Academy, Florida Email – Ashley.Hobson@Mobile – 404 374 9750 ................
