COSMETIC AUTOCARE LTD TERMS AND CONDITIONSAgreement to any estimate/quotation provided, either verbally or in writing, will be deemed as an acceptance by the customer for Cosmetic Autocare Ltd to carry out repairs at an agreed time. By agreeing to the work to be completed, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of Cosmetic Autocare Ltd.Cosmetic Autocare Ltd will provide details of the cost of each car body or paint repair, and any mechanical work required, before the work commences. Any estimate given for such work will be valid for a period of 14 days and is subject to physical inspection of the vehicle, and parts prices remaining the same. If it becomes apparent during the course of the work that extra costs will be incurred in order to complete the repair to a satisfactory standard, then the customer’s agreement will be sought prior to continuing. If the repair cannot be done within the quoted timespan due to circumstances beyond Cosmetic Autocare’s control, an advisor will contact the customer and inform them accordingly. Cosmetic Autocare Ltd accept no responsibility for previous repair work to the vehicle not carried out by Cosmetic Autocare, whether apparent before or during the course of any repair work. Cosmetic Autocare Ltd is not responsible for any type of existing corrosion or rust on the vehicle if it does not form part of the repairs carried out by Cosmetic Autocare Ltd. All work, parts and services are subject to VAT at the current rate as required by law. Payment for all goods and/or services, repairs and/or spare parts supplied is due on completion of work. All Goods and/or Services shall remain the absolute and unencumbered property of Cosmetic Autocare Ltd until such time Cosmetic Autocare Ltd has received cleared payment in full from the customer in respect of such Goods and/or Services. Cheques will not be accepted.Once the car body repair has been completed, payment will be taken by either debit card, credit card or cash. The car will then be available for collection or returned to the customer. All goods / parts fitted to vehicles remain the property of Cosmetic Autocare Ltd until invoices are paid in full.Possession of the vehicle will NOT be passed back to the customer until full payment for the cost of all works has been received. Cosmetic Autocare Ltd will charge reasonable storage costs for vehicles that remain on site for over one week post completion of work, or for any other reason without prior agreement in writing from a Director of Cosmetic Autocare. Storage charges are charged for 6 months at ?25.00 plus vat per day After 6 months in storage vehicles are deemed as abandoned and Cosmetic Autocare reserve the right to exercise lien on the vehicle and start the legal process for disposal of the vehicle in order to recover any unpaid invoices/ charges. The vehicle owner will be liable for all costs incurred in the process of disposing of the vehicle. The customer will be liable for any shortfall still outstanding after this process. Any additional funds over and above the outstanding charges will be returned to the customer.For the avoidance of doubt, Cosmetic Autocare Ltd do NOT provide free storage to customers or companies under any circumstances, unless agreed in writing in advance by a director. If a customer or company does not proceed with the work, fails to collect the vehicle following completion of work, if salvage vehicles left on site, or hire or lease cars left on site etc, storage charges WILL apply at the above rate.Cosmetic Autocare Ltd does not accept liability for any damage or losses suffered by the Customer if their vehicle is left to be stored at our site without prior agreement.The customer has the right to cancel the agreed works if the work has not commenced, and parts for the agreed work have not been purchased. If the agreed work has commenced, or parts purchased, payment must be made in full for the work already completed up to the point of cancellation, and for all parts. All work carried out for customers on behalf of an insurance company or an accident management company shall be invoiced to the customer and they will remain liable for all charges if not settled by the insurance or accident management company.Cosmetic Autocare Ltd is not responsible for any loss or damage to items left by the customer and are not connected to the vehicle. We advise that you remove all items from your vehicle.During the repair process wheels may be removed from the customers vehicle. Upon refitting the wheels they will be torqued to manufacturers settings. Cosmetic Autocare Ltd require that all wheels be re torqued after 1 week or in less than 50 miles, whichever is sooner. If these post repair checks are not carried out, Cosmetic Autocare Ltd cannot accept any responsibility for loose or lost wheel nuts or any damages caused as a result of loose or lost wheel nuts. This is especially important when alloy wheels have been painted or refurbished.THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS DO NOT AFFECT THE STATUTORY RIGHTS, AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME.
