We are excited to share that NJM just received two new independent validations ? one from J.D. Power for providing policyholders with an outstanding claims experience, and another from Consumer Reports for delivering superior customer satisfaction. Both organizations are highly recognized and trusted brands when it comes to providing consumers with fair and helpful ratings on products and services.

J.D. Power Names NJM the only `Auto Claims Certified' Insurer for Second Year in a Row

First, NJM has been named as an Auto Claims Certified insurer for the second year in a row by J.D. Power, making us the only company in the country to achieve this designation ? not once, but twice!

"J.D. Power's Claims Certification program evaluates insurance companies for their most crucial interaction with policyholders - the claim settlement process," said Mitch Livingston. "As this independent evaluation demonstrates, our employees are consistently there for our policyholders when they need us most, and we're thrilled to once again receive this honor."

In order to qualify, NJM was required to pass a rigorous independent audit along with an evaluation of claims performance across five key areas: First Notice of Loss, Estimation, Repair Process, Claims Servicing and Settlement. Overall, NJM successfully satisfied 86 out of 87 metrics for a total score of 99%!

This exclusive certification is a clear reflection of our enduring commitment and dedication to providing customers with a claims experience that not only meets - but exceeds - the expectations of today's consumers.

NJM Scores Highly for Customer Satisfaction in Latest Consumer Reports Study According to a fall 2018 Consumer Reports survey in which members provided feedback on their overall experiences with car insurance companies, NJM ranked #2 of 53 insurers for overall customer satisfaction!

Specifically, we received top scores for claims servicing, non-claims customer service, and the information provided during policy reviews. This is the first time Consumer Reports' overall car insurance ratings have been based on drivers' total experiences with their insurers. In the past, it was based exclusively on satisfaction with claims settlements.

NJM is also one of only four car insurers to earn a very high rating while spending considerably less money overall on advertising campaigns as compared to larger insurers. We have been listed as among the top three companies in every one of Consumer Reports' car insurance ratings since 2004!

While we are thrilled to be recognized for our commitment to policyholders, this feedback demonstrates just how important service is to insurance customers. It reinforces our need to keep working hard as we begin to build our brand in new states.
