Tests and analyzes all network facilities components, including hardware, software, and power. Monitors systems, tracks performance and status, and helps to identify and repair network failures. Assists in collection of data and administers work related to network controls. Provides support to site networking system. Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter. Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.Supervisory Responsibilities: May supervise junior technicians.Duties/Responsibilities: Provides Help Desk support for users.Installation and support company IT hardware including networking hardware, server hardware, phone system hardware, desktops and laptops, cell phones, ISP hardware, and printers and copiers.Installation and support company IT software including networking software, security software, server software, phone system software, business systems software, and printers and copiers.New user setup and basic training and support including desktop or laptop set up, phone or cell phone set up, and user set up in the required systems.Sourcing and purchasing equipment as required.Maintain systems documentation including flowcharts, diagrams, spreadsheets and other documents.Ensures activities comply with quality systems requirements and ply and track software licensing requirements.Interface with outside network management company regarding backups, security and other network assistanceEducation and Experience:Bachelor’s degree, preferably with an emphasis in an IT disciplineExperience with all, or a majority, of the responsibilities listedExperience with Microsoft products including VMWare, Windows Server, Windows, SQL Server, Office, Project, Visio, Teams and Edge required.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, Sharepoint, Infopath, Chrome, FireFox, Mitel phone systems, iPhones, Visual Manufacturing, ZenQMS, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Ceridian Dayforce and Minitab preferred.Preferred Skills/Abilities:Skills and experience in a wide variety of hardware and software technologies requiredHelp desk skills requiredProgramming experience desired, but not requiredExperience in FDA regulated environments desiredExperience in manufacturing environments preferredAbility to prioritize and problem solve requiredAbility to be productive with minimal supervisionPhysical Requirements: Must be able to lift and move computer hardware up to 50 poundsMust be able to bend and crawl under desks to set up computer hardwareMay have prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer The above job description does not constitute a contract of employment, and Tapemark may exercise its employment-at-will rights at any time.____________________________________________________________________________Employee SignatureDate ................
