Martabe Gold Mine is managed and operated by PT Agincourt Resources. The mine covers an area of 30 km2 that falls under the sixth generation of Contract of Work (CoW) covering a total area of 1.303 km2.Mineral Resources as of June 30, 2020, reached 7.6 million ounces of gold and 66 million ounces of silver. Production began at Martabe on 24 July 2012. The operating capacity of the Martabe Gold Mine is exceeds 6 million tonnes of ore per year to produce more than 300.000 ounces of gold and 2-3 million ounces of silver per year.PTAR employs more than 3,000 employees and contractors, over 99% of whom are Indonesian nationals, and more than 70% of whom are recruited from local residents. The majority shareholder in PTAR is PT Danusa Tambang Nusantara, which is owned by PT United Tractors, Tbk (60%) and PT Pamapersada Nusantara (40%), with a total share of 95%. PT United Tractors Tbk is a public company whose shares are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and also subsidiary of PT Astra International Tbk. PT United Tractors, Tbk’s share ownership consists of 59.50% by PT Astra International Tbk and 40.50% by the public. PT. Pamapersada Nusantara is 99.9% owned by PT United Tractors, Tbk.To strengthen the existing Processing (Maintenance) team and to ensure the achievement of the department objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role: ENGINEER - MECHANICAL PROJECT (PRO 2108031)This position will be based at Martabe Site in Processing (Maintenance) Department, and reports directly to Coordinator Mechanical Engineering.The Role of Engineer - Mechanical Project is responsible for providing technical expertise, design and management of in-house projects for modifications, upgrades and debottlenecking of the Martabe process plant and support infrastructure. Manage the safe and timely execution of approved capital and operational projects to achieve planned project benefits for the Company.Ensure Change Management System is used for all projects with communication, input and sign off by all key stakeholders.Develop scopes of work, tender packages, selection of design standards, tender evaluations and project management tools to ensure that the Company is financial and legally protected while achieving optimal value on project expenditure.Ensure designs for all projects comply with a recognised International Standard and maintain a high degree of alignment and compatibility with existing plant equipment and spares were practical.Ensure an appropriate level of QA/QC is implemented and achieved to suit each projects strategic importance to the Company.Manage and report project costs and progress status, including cost overruns, savings, variations, schedule changes and project specific information to key stakeholders on a regular basis.Manage internal and external engineering resources and contractor required for the execution of projects.Manage and report project Key Performance Indicators and the implementation of appropriate changes to maintenance regimes, safety, reliability and capability improvements resulting from projects.Prepare submissions and cost estimates for capital projects for the annual CAPEX budget process and quarterly forecasts and assist with OPEX budgeting as required.Ensure identified maintenance strategies and inventory requirements are implemented post project completion.Manage the project development cycle from initiation to completion with PTAR Reliability, Maintenance and Processing management teams fully engaged. Ensure all changes resulting from projects are update in the relevant systems, including drawings, maintenance management system, inventory and document management system.Ensure all works and activities are executed in compliance to all requirements of Safety Standard and regulations.Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering from a recognised University, Preferably Postgraduate in Project Management, Business studies or second engineering field.5 years or more site based roles in mineral processing plant maintenance and project implementationExperience in the design of mineral processing plants, materials handling, pipeline and pumping systems, structural construction.Site based experience in an offshore role, maintenance, project management or construction of mineral processing plants.CIL gold plant experience.Having a POP (Pengawas Operasional Pratama) certificate is preferred.Practical involvement in the site construction of materials handling, crushing and screening system design and construction.Thorough knowledge of international design standards and familiar to operate AutoCAD software.Experience to run the Helix software or understanding the concept of conveyor system, DEM of chute and Helix Delta pipe analysis.
