DAY Command Center

2

Of course, you know I am going to talk about the Sunday Basket?. If you are new to Organize 365? and haven't heard about the Sunday Basket?, go here.

Basically, the Sunday Basket? is a portable command center and how I manage my everyday papers (aka mail) and actionable to-do's.

Today I want you to create a separate basket for your Back to School Blitz (a laundry basket is perfect). Add your notes of what clothing you need to buy from yesterday. Put the items that need alterations or repairs IN the basket and complete today's checklist.

Keep working through these checklists this week, and this weekend you can start shopping, knowing that every dollar you are spending is needed and where it will go when you get home.

Things to add to or do in your Sunday Basket? that relate to a productive school year:

SCHOOL CHECKLISTS

DAY Supplies

3

Now is the time to replenish all your household supplies as well as your kid's school supplies. July and August offer the best selection and prices on all office supply products. Really take inventory of what you have and what you will need over the next twelve months.

And since you are stocking up, create a go-to home office supply area in your home for all the overflow. My home office supply "store" is located in my living room. A central supply area helps me know what I have so I do not overbuy office supplies. Office supplies are my favorite thing to buy so I have to be careful! :)
