In doing so, there are various interfaces involved like RMT (for entitlements), CSP (for Contacts and Client associations), WIS (for internal contacts), CC (for Clients) and CFT (for Ops onboarding). Project Description

Global Market Reference Data (GMRD) is a global repository for all asset indicative data (securities, bonds, funds information & metrics), exchanges and depositories. System receives asset data from about 17 different vendors and the data is then processed and subjected to over 1000 merge, validation and publication rules. GMRD provides the following functionality at a very high level. -Captures Asset Indicative Data from about 17 different Vendors and cleanses, consolidates the Asset Data by application of different Merge, Hierarchy and Validation rules. -Maintain data consistency across all client systems by implementing real-time, aggregate vendor processing, data validation and exception handling, thus providing “best of breed” data to its clients. -The centralized nature of GMRD also allows operations to focus their efforts on a single repository, as opposed to maintaining multiple downstream asset masters for each application (WINS, TITAN, GTI etc.) as was the case earlier. -Distributes the data to downstream systems by using a publish and subscribe model -Reconciles with downstream systems -Provides the functionality for maintenance of Asset Data.
