Dear Parents: As you make decisions regarding your child's education for the 2020-2021 school year, Baltimore County Public Schools wanted to remind you that students with disabilities, including those on Section 504 plans and with Individualized Education Programs, are entitled to accommodations, supports, and services at the school of enrollment. If you anticipate your child attending a magnet school, including Eastern Technical High and Western School of Technology, please know that special education and general education supports are available to address your child's needs.1

In the event that your child requires special education and related services, you are encouraged to discuss those services with staff at the school of anticipated enrollment. Special education and related services are available at all public schools, including magnet schools and programs, within Baltimore County Public Schools. Parents with questions regarding the availability of special education support services at a particular school should contact the department chair for special education at the individual school or contact the Office of Special Education at (443) 809-3660.

Sincerely,

Bryan G. Stoll Coordinator Office of Magnet Programs
