Paulo Borelli is an Executive Director in theFIG LatAm Group, based in New York. Mr. Borelli has been involved in a several M&A and equity transactions. Relevant transactions include theadvisory to Bancolombia on its US$2.1 billion acquisition of HSBC Panama, Grupo Financiero Inbursa's US$950mm follow on, Santander Mexico's US$4.1 billion IPO, Bancolombia's US$933 million follow-on offering, theadvisory to Davivienda on its US$801 million acquisition of HSBC banking and insurance assets in Central America, theadvisory to Mercantil Colpatria in relation to thesale of a 51% stake in Banco Colpatria to Scotiabank for US$1 billion, theadvisory to Grupo Suramericana de Inversiones S.A. on its US$3.7 billion acquisition of ING's mandatory pension fund businesses in Latin America (as well as ancillary acquisition financing transaction of US$1.7 billion and equity offering of US$1.8 billion), theUS$7.6 billion IPO of Santander Brasil, theUS$4.1 billion IPO of VisaNet/Cielo, and thesale of theconsumer finance unit of Lojas Colombo, among others. Mr. Borelli has also worked on DCM transactions for FIG clients in theregion. Previously, he worked for theInvestment Banking division of Banco Santander (originally ABN AMRO).

Paulo Borelli holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering with emphasis in mechanics, graduated from Escola Polit?cnica da Universidade de S?o Paulo.
