2020 Scholarship Application and Contract Purpose: Santa Ynez Valley PONY Baseball will strive not to deny any child a chance to play baseball due to financial hardship. Please note there are a limited number of scholarships available for the 2020 season. All scholarships are awarded based on review by the Santa Ynez Valley Pony Baseball Executive Board members. Eligibility: To be eligible for a scholarship, the parent or guardian of the player must: 1. Complete and sign this form,?2. Commit to an unpaid service commitment based on the scholarship amount and type requested 3. And submit an endorsed check for the requested amount of the scholarship. Contract Terms: The service commitment must be fulfilled by March 14, 2020 Service commitments must be fulfilled as you know every child that plays SYV Pony Baseball must sell cash calendars. You will be responsible for selling (10) $10 Cash Calendar tickets by March 14th 2020 for each child receiving a scholarship. When the service commitment is fulfilled, the league will return the uncashed check. However, if the service commitment is not fulfilled, this scholarship contract will be considered void and the league will cash the check no earlier than May 10, 2020. And in order for the child to receive his or her jersey and hat will need to sell the required amount of Cash Calendar tickets.Instructions: Complete the following form.
