Battery usage guidelines for LiFePO4 cells
• Do not charge batteries above 3.8V per cell.
• Do not discharge batteries below 2.5V per cell.
• For best results, balance cells by completing a charge in parallel before arranging them for your application.
• Discharge rates are 3C or less. This may require adjustments to your controller settings.
• Batteries must be packaged in a way that applies pressure to the case to prevent swelling. If swelling occurs it may lead to cell failure.
• Allow proper ventilation during charge and discharge.
• Charge using only devices properly calibrated for LiFePO4 battery chemistry.
• Keep batteries away from flame and other heat sources.
• Do not allow batteries to become wet.
• Use caution when connecting and charging batteries. They present a risk of electric shock.
• Batteries have no warranty, use at your own risk.
