City Council met in regular session on April 4, 2017. Mayor Demshar called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. Members present included Councilors Jason Armstrong, Tim Savage, Rose Mosbey, Glennise Wendorf, David Tate, David Halter, Rob Zotti, and Clark Stith. Depa11ment Heads present included, Amy Allen, Paul Kauchich, Dave Lansang, Lisa Tarufelli, and Kara Beech. Assistant City Attorney Richard Beckwith and Police Commander Matt Keslar were also present. The pledge of allegiance was recited. Approval ofRevised Agenda Moved by Councilor Tate, seconded by Councilor Mosbey to approve the revised agenda. Motion ca1Tied unanimously. Approval o{Minutes Moved by Councilor Wendorf, seconded by Councilor Halter to approve the City Council Meeting minutes of March 21, 2017. Motion carried unanimously. BID OPENINGS 2017 Crack Seal Project One bid was received from R & D Sweeping & Asphalt Maintenance, 393 Pyramid Drive, Rock Springs, WY 82901, in the amount of $46,050.50. APPOINTMENTS County Wide Board o{Healtli Moved by Councilor Tate, seconded by Councilor Mosbey to appoint Charles Sykes to a 2"d term on the County Wide Board of Health. Upon roll call the following voted in favor: Councilors Am1strong, Savage, Mosbey, Wendorf, Stith, Halter, Zotti, and Tate. Motion carried unanimously. PRESENTATIONS AND PROCLAMATIONS National Library Week Mayor Demshar read a proclamation declaring the week of April 9-15, 2017, as National Library Week, and encouraged residents to visit one of our libraries this week to explore what's new and engage with the librarians. Sexual Assault Awareness Month Mayor Demshar read a proclamation declaring the month of April 2017 as Sexual Assault Awareness Month and encouraged citizens to learn what can be done to combat sexual violence and offer prevention measures and support and services to survivors. Airport & Air Service Update Devon Brubaker, Airport Manager, reviewed improvements, grants, flight schedules and airfares at the RS-Sweetwater County Airport. He stated that things are trending in a good way, and they are always looking at ways to decrease expenditures and increase revenues. Mayor Demshar stated that Devon has made amazing progress in the two years he has been at the airport. He thanked him for his tremendous efforts. PUBLIC HEARINGS Public hearing on the proposed sale ofmunicipal property located at Rock Springs Old Town Block 19, Lot 6, Rock Springs, Wyoming, at a price less than the appraised value

Animal Control Report-February 2017

Moved by Councilor Tate, seconded by Councilor Stith to approve the report and place it on file. Motion carried unanimously.

Councilor Savage commented that here was another month where there were zero dog euthanasias performed.

COUNCIL COMMITTEE AND BOARD REPORTS

Councilor Wend01freminded everyone that the 141h Annual City Wide Cleanup will take place on May 13. All supplies will be available after May I. On May 13, at l p.m. there will be a free lunch at the Young at Heart Senior Center for all volunteers.
