There will be no live-streamed service this Sunday morning.Worship for The Feast of St Benedict and Fifth Sunday after Trinity. July 12th 10.30 Benefice Holy Communion at St Pega’s PeakirkRev Mark-Aaron will celebrate Holy Communion in St Pega’s Church. All are welcome but please be mindful that St Pega’s church is small and be aware that all social distancing and hygiene requirements will be in place. These arrangements will make the church seem very different and will be unfamiliar to all of us. Before you enter you will be asked to give your name and phone number (for Track and Trace). The seating arrangements have been considered very carefully and are arranged in ones, twos and family groups. You will be directed to sit in certain seats and are asked not to move seats or change the seating arrangements! Please do not gather or stand in the aisles. Although it will be lovely to meet with those who we have not seen for the months of lockdown, we are asked not to stay for conversations in the church building at the close of the service.Collect :? Moments, lately, have been lingering, dawdling even - pregnant with potential, saturated with suspense and expectation, though not always joyful expectation; these moments have been hovering over us, while we work out what we’re to do next…Now we’re to unlock our doors, throw open the windows, let the fresh air in and the dawdling moments waft away…. Peer out those windows! Peek around those doors! Smell those roses in the gardens around our neighbourhoods!??‘For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind.’?2Tim1:7?No matter who we are, we are stronger with our Lord, Jesus Christ; ‘Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they wondered; and they recognised that they had been with Jesus.’?Acts 4:13. Have a little Faith; actually, have a deep Faith, why don’t you!??As we stir from this artificial hibernation, lumbering from sleep and our encampments, rest assured God is with us, always!pax vobiscumSupporting the work of our Churches While still having to pay bills to maintain our churches while the doors have been closed, we have received much reduced income through offertory donations and fund-raising. As our churches reopen, the offertory will not be taken during the service and a bowl, dish or plate will be available for donations in the church. However, each church has an On-line donation button on its parish page of the A Church Near You website. Please consider donating regularly using this method.
