Queen of Peace Center – Our Lady of Perpetual HelpBehavioral Health TechnicianUnder the supervision of the Residential Program manager, the Behavioral Health Technician will perform designated non-clinical tasks that promote the overall health and well-being for all residents. The Behavioral Health Technician will provide exceptional direct and supportive services to include crisis management and assist with therapeutic activities. These duties will be performed in a highly professional and enthusiastic manner in direct alignment with the mission, vision and values of Queen of Peace Center Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Responsibilities:Assist with residential enrollment into the programComplete personal inventory at request of new residentPrepare, administer, and document medications in compliance with all State and Federal regulationsDocument any and all concerns related to residents behavior in daily shift log and in Electronic Health RecordAssure that all state regulations are followed as it pertains to proper documentation of group logs and following safety and programmatic protocolsMaintain a clean and safe environmentIdentify and implement responsibilities associated with control and storage of medications as well as reorderingMaintain an accurate account of controlled substancesOther duties as assignedKnowledge & Experience RequirementsMust have successfully completed the Level I Medication Aide Training Program Must have current CPR certification or be willing to obtain CPR certificationBe familiar with fire and disaster proceduresMust be able to perform duties with minimal direction from the Program ManagerMust have Class C driver’s licenseSkills & Attitudes Required For Success In JobMust be able to think, act, and intervene independently in both routine and emergency situations; must be self- motivated and possess good judgment.Utilizes tactful, diplomatic communication skills to interact in potentially sensitive or emotionally charged situation.Able to perform the physical/mental function/requirements of the position.Please submit cover letter and resume to Steve Saffa, ssaffa@. ................
