Mission OrientedThe Alliance for Children exists to bring together the resources and expertise of West Virginia’s leading children and family services organizations to create a comprehensive statewide network of care. Alliance member agencies’ missions are rooted in assisting West Virginia’s most vulnerable population – its children – in whatever manner necessary. Mitigation of IsolationHaving supportive affiliates in Charleston is greatly beneficial to member agencies, especially those at a greater geographic distance from the Capitol. For those agencies head quartered in isolated areas, the awareness of their services is enhanced through members spread across the state.Synergy of EffortLike-minded agencies, with the ultimate goal of helping West Virginia’s children and families, in West Virginia, working collaboratively is more effective than these same agencies working on their own.
