Day 1 Australia ? Rome, Italy Today depart from either Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth for Rome, Italy. Fly with Air France, Emirates, Singapore Airlines to name a few (subject to availability). Meals included: In-Flight

Day 3 Rome Half Day Sightseeing Tour After breakfast you will enjoy a half day guided tour of Rome. Explore the historic centre of Rome and see the iconic sites such as: the Pantheon (entrance not included), Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum (entrance not included). Your local guide will tell you the stories and anecdotes about the Eternal city and reveal secret corners of the city. The perfect way to get to grips with the orientation, art and history of Rome. Day 4 Rome - Montepulciano ? Pienza - Siena After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to Tuscany. On the way, you will stop in Montepulciano, for a visit of the medieval village and an ancient winery where you will taste two local red wines: Rosso di Montepulciano DOC and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, along with fresh bread and locally produced olive oil. Then continue towards Pienza to discover the tiny village, which is the perfect mix of architecture, food & tradition. Arrive in Montalcino, and visit a local winery and enjoy a taste of red wines with a typical lunch. Late this afternoon arrive in Siena.

Day 5 Siena Walking Tour This morning after breakfast meet your local guide for a guided walking tour of Siena. The historic centre of Siena has been declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site. Day 8 Florence ? Wicker Basket Weaving Experience with Lunch

This morning enjoy breakfast at your hotel and then experience an "Explore-Taste-Create" Laboratory in Florence's surrounds. Your local guide will take you to meet a local artisan and you will learn how to weave a wicker basket. At the end you will be involved in a genuine Florentine atmosphere of a typical "osteria" (a rustic venue offering diverse Italian cuisine) for a social lunch. In the late afternoon return to Florence.

Day 9 Florence ? Cinque Terre - Wine Tasting ? La Spezia

After breakfast and check out, depart to La Spezia. Embark on a boat cruise to Cinque Terre, a string of centuries-old seaside villages on the rugged Italian Riviera coastline (in case of bad sea conditions, you will board a regional train). Enjoy a full day to discover the beautiful villages of Monterosso, Vernazza, Manarola and Rio Maggiore. Here surrounded by a breathtaking panorama you will enjoy a guided wine tasting of Cinque Terre wines in an incredible location: the famous Via dell'Amore which is high on the cliffs overlooking the sea. The tasting will be accompanied by local snacks like focaccia bread, olives, pesto or the typical rice or vegetable cake. Enjoy the unique atmosphere of this place, colourful houses and vineyards cling to steep terraces, harbours are filled with fishing boats and trattorias turn out seafood specialties along with the Liguria region's famous sauce, pesto. Relax in the late afternoon, overlooking the sea and the coloured houses of Rio maggiore before returning to La Spezia for the night.

Surrounded by lush vegetation, you can only reach the abbey by sea or on foot. Here time seems to stop,

Day 11 Genoa Walking Tour ? Gold Leaf Laboratory Workshop

After breakfast, meet the local tour guide for a guided walking tour along the narrow alleys of Genoa's historical centre. Here you will discover the real "heart" of the city: old shops, noble palaces and churches - which preserve incredible works of art. For lunch you will taste some of the specialities of the Ligurian cuisine in one of the oldest "osteria" of the city. Enjoy farinata, anchovies, vegetables pie and the famous "pansotti" together with a glass of local white wine "il bianchetto". After lunch you will visit a Gold Leaf Laboratory. Here the Master craftsman will show you the ancient techniques of gilding and lacquering. After the demonstration you will enjoy a 2 hour workshop, during which you will create your very own gold frame to take home with you as a very special souvenir!
