BONQO: Major Competition for Craigslist

April 5, 2011, Los Angeles, Ca. --- After much success on the Central Coast, BONQO is expanding the reach of their online classifieds to include all of Southern California. With this new site comes a new take on online classifieds that has proven to be a welcomed change.

Established by Ella Internet Technologies, Inc., and based out of Santa Barbara, California, the family-friendly online classifieds went live in October of 2010. Targeting the greater Los Angeles, San Diego, and Riverside areas, BONQO is bringing a family-friendly online classifieds to the web for anyone who wants to feel safe in knowing that when they browse listings, they aren't likely to be met with fraudulent, offensive, or distasteful material.

What sets BONQO apart from the competition is their promise to manually screen and review every single listing before publishing it online. Taylor Scott of says, "We've found that manually screening all listings is the best way to keep our users safe. Computer filters aren't a good substitute for human intuition, and our scanners are doing their utmost to detect and eliminate scams and fraudulent listings.” Scott went on to say that he believes this approach will become a mainstay throughout the online classifieds world.

The most recent trend in online scams are pet scams and rental scams. These scams have been increasing in variety and number, keeping BONQO busy in their monitoring of the ad submissions that crop up. The safety team remains vigilant in their efforts to keep the spam and fraud off of the site.

The Southern California launch date is set to be announced for April 5, 2011. For further inquiries regarding , please contact Taylor Scott.
