For all wedding flower commissions over ?600 – two free flower trugs for which you may choose to give as gifts at your wedding- this represents a ?70.00 saving. All commissions are booked and undertaken in accordance with our terms and conditions (see overleaf)Flowers by Sarah Louise – Terms and Conditions for Wedding commissionsFlowers by Sarah Louise (we) are committed to looking after your floral needs for your big day. To help you and to make sure we are able to offer the best possible service, the following Terms and Conditions apply to all commissions.All quotations are in pounds sterling and all payments are required to be the same. We are not VAT registered and so quotations and invoices will not carry this charge. DepositWhen a wedding date is booked we charge a ?50 deposit. This saves the date. If, for any reason you decide to cancel your wedding this deposit is non-refundable see cancellations below. If you decide to postpone your wedding we will hold your deposit until your wedding goes ahead. The ?50 deposit is subtracted from your final wedding invoice. Payment of deposit is an acknowledgement of Terms and Conditions.Quotation and PaymentNo wedding or event is booked until the deposit has been paid in full. Once the deposit has been paid then the prices and dates are secure unless stated otherwise.A quotation for the cost of your wedding flower requirements will be sent to you after the initial consultation. Prices will be based on those overleaf. Quotations are valid for 30 days upon which we require written acceptance from you. Once we receive your acceptance, the quoted prices will remain valid up to your wedding date. We will place orders with our suppliers from 28 days before your wedding date. If you make changes during that 28-day period, we reserve the right to charge you for any additional costs passed on to us by our suppliers. You will receive a final invoice approximately one month before your wedding. Payment is accepted by cheque, cash or direct payment via internet banking.Full and final payment must be received at least 28 days before the wedding date.CancellationsIn the event of any cancellation, the booking fee will not be refunded. In addition to this, if you cancel your wedding during the 28-day period from the final payment date, no refund will be given as we will have started placing orders with our suppliers. Availability of FlowersWe do not guarantee specific stem types. We will work with your wish lists and if available we will include them. However if not we will use the wish list blooms as inspiration for alternative blooms.The options are that you can leave us to choose a mix of flowers, or we will work to a colour and style palate, based on our discussions, emails and photos that you give us and these are used as inspiration.DeliveryDelivery arrangements will be agreed with you as early as possible so we can be absolutely sure everything is in the right place at the right time. Any delivery charges will be discussed with you as part of the initial consultation. We may find it useful to visit the venue(s) in advance so we can assess delivery points, corridors and layout. We do not charge for this but may require your assistance if we are denied access for any reason. We reserve the right to make additional charges for any changes in delivery arrangements, howsoever caused.Any queries regarding material and arrangements delivered at any agreed location or venue, must be raised within 30 minutes of delivery by telephoning 07398 163215.We strive to make every delivery on time. Should a delivery fail as a result of a fault with a venue or you, we will not be held liable and reserve the right to make additional charges. Hire and use of vases, crates etc.We charge a refundable deposit of ?50 for this service. Containers must be returned to Flowers by Sarah Louise within 3 days, or as agreed.Charges will be made for any glassware returned cracked, chipped or broken. Replacement of goods is charged at the current purchase price, it is then the responsibility of you to reclaim any of these costs from the venue if the venue was at fault. Equipment hired (jugs, bottles, vases, plinths, candelabras, etc.) remain the property of Flowers by Sarah Louise at all times.PhotographsWe reserves the right to take photographs of flowers and the setting prior to the wedding which may be used for promotional purposes by us.ResponsibilityFlowers by Sarah Louise accept no liability for injury, loss or damage to you or any third party of any equipment hired for use at the event. You are advised to take out insurance cover against loss or damage or any unexpected costs.
