Spelling – student will write lesson #24 spelling words in their homework copybook 2 x’s each(1cursive/ 1 print). #24 words:ball, sought, chalk, walk, taught, pause, sauce, paw, jaw, city, small, bought, own, amused, peaceful, patient, described, entertainment, imagination, brotherMath – students are to complete pgs. 129 and 130 in the math workbook. (the smaller book)When done please email this assignment to me, thanks.Handwriting –students are to complete the letter “O” on pg. 69 in Handwriting book, including the first sentence at the bottom of the page. Then practice one full page of capital letter “O” in handwriting copybook or on paper.Religion – this week we are Learning about the Liturgy of the Word in Chap. 17. Pg. 195Students are to read and complete pgs. 196, 197, 198 and 199.Art – this week you are asked to draw a picture of one of your favorite thing to do in the summer. You may use crayons, markers, colored pencils etc. Due Wednesday June 3rd – be sure to put your name and grade on the paper and send to :raaustermehle@stmargarets- Computers- See Mrs. Santarelli’s homework board for assignments.Day 35/27Reading: students are to work on practice book pages: Practice Book- students are to complete pgs. 396, 397, 398 and 399. Spelling – (also in the practice book) complete pgs. 400 (put in ABC order), 401, 401A, 401B. Math – today we are looking at pages 451 and 452 in the big math book. They are to color in the fraction shown, then write the fractions in order from least to greatest and then greatest to least. Science – when you are done your work for today go outside and play. Observe the weather, cloud formations etc. In your journal write about the weather and what you did today. Include a picture of what you did as well. Please email me this assignment when done, thanks.Handwriting – students are to complete the capital letter ”P” on pg.69 in your handwriting book, including the sentence at the bottom of the page. Religion – today they learn about the “Good News” found in the four books of the Gospel: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.Students are to read pgs. 200, 201, 202, and 203. They are to write the fraction for the colored part of the whole. And then color the parts of the fractions and then write the fraction for the colored part of each whole. Handwriting – students are to work on the letter “Q” pg. 70 including the first sentence at the bottom of the page. Then practice one full page of the capital letter “Q” in handwriting copybook or on paper.Religion – today students are to read and complete the activities on pgs. 204 & 205. Spanish – assignment for May 18th to 28th.Last assignment for the year!I am sending this via email to you if I have not already. If you do not get this assignment from me in an email let me know I can resend. Day 55/29 Reading: Read a book of your choice.Practice Book - students are to complete pgs. 408, 409, and 410. Spelling – No Assessment this week, enjoy.Math – today in math we are going to be doing pgs. 455 (skip #4) and 456. Use this time to catch up or just take a break. Just do the few assignments to finish up the week. Handwriting – today students will practice the capital letter “R” pg. 70 including the sentence at the bottom. Then practice one full page of capital letter “R” in copybook or on paper. Religion – students are to complete pg. 206 and send this to me. Just complete and email it to me today. Be sure to complete and have parents email this to me today. Today would have been our May Crowning &Grandparents Day at school. Due to our current situation we can’t celebrate together, however we can still make a card and send it to our Grandparents. Let them know how much you love and care for them. If your grandparents are not with us anymore, make a card for someone special to you or even to your godparents. Have fun and be creative! Due Dates and Other Information: Parents please do what you can each day, take breaks and finish another day or time if needed. Send me only the assignments I ask for each day via email by scanning or taking a photo. Please know I am here for you if you need help, as best as I can remotely anyway. We are in this together, you are all doing great. Remember one day at a time. Keep those prayers going and God will help us all get through these trying times.
