Lesson Title: Graffiti Name Tags Media: Pen, Colored pencil, Sharpie

Lesson Content:

The students will be introduced to the theme of identity. The students will explore how their names can be represented through lettering and symbols. The students will concentrate on value and rhythm by designing a “graffiti” name tag.

Extension Activity:

What other way can you show your name? Look at developing an alphabet full of shapes and transferring that into a name.
