|Students will listen to the story being read. Put students in pairs and assign an artist. |

|Students will use Florida Electronic Library to research 2 facts about their artist. |

|Activities & Strategies: |

|Read story |

|Students will access Kids InfoBits through Florida Electronic Library. |

|Students will search for an African American artist of their choice. |

|Have students create a new document or PPT presentation is Office 365. |

|Go over the requirements for copying and pasting a picture of their artist and including citations for both the information and the picture. |

|Students will research their artist; complete the worksheet, and the picture and citations page. |

|Students will put information into their word document/PPT presentation, and share finished product with MS. |

|Teacher will monitor and assist students with their research and picture/citation page. |

|Students will present information about their artist to the class. |

|Assessment: |

|Students will present 2 facts to the class. |
