This is a short-term position as our community will be voting on the renewal on November 5, 2019. The volunteer will attend the Community Meeting on September 25, 2019 at 7pm, and then coordinate the distribution of flyers, posters, and yard signs (all of which have already been prepared).? Please contact our ptsachair@ if interested.?CONGRATS TO THE BCS DEBATE & FORENSICS TEAMA small group of students represented these teams at an annual Courthouse Speaking Competition on Friday, September 13 at the Oakland County Courthouse. Students prepared speeches on the topic of National Security vs. Personal Privacy and presented in front of a panel of adjudicators consisting of judges and lawyers. Allyson P earned 2nd place and Spencer G and Maddie Z earned Constitutional Scholars accommodations. The students will be recognized for their efforts at this weeks BPS Board Meeting as well!??NEW: LUNCH AND ITEMS DROPPED OFF DURING THE SCHOOL DAYWhen dropping off books, lunches, homework, etc. for your child, we now have a cart located in the vestibule when you walk into the school. Please place your child’s belongings on the cart with their name. If your child calls/texts you to request an item, please let them know that they will need to come to the office to pick it up.? Then, your child can check the cart later that day before the item is needed to collect it. Lunch items not picked up, will be delivered to the lunch room during the appropriate lunch period. The teachers and staff are very excited about this new process and look forward to fewer interruptions in their classrooms.?INTRODUCTION TO INTEGRATED MATH PRESENTATION FOR PARENTSSimilar to last year, BCS would like to invite parents to a special informational meeting to learn more about the Integrated Math program.? The minimum password character length is eight (8). In addition, the password must contain at least 1 upper case letter, 1 lower case letter, and 1 numeric character.?
