1. Regional statistics: incidence, mortality, stage of diagnosis (if available....) 

a. If possible, give examples of countries in the region that have basic, limited or enhanced level of resources, according to the Breast Health Global Initiative’s guidelines.

b. How accessible is cancer treatment/cancer centers?

c. Is there national insurance coverage of cancer treatment?

2. Screening and other early detection programs. 

a. What works and what doesn’t work?  Why? 

b. Do we know the percent of women having regular mammograms? 

c. What other programs/non-screening are working?   

d. How can other early detection/not-screening programs be made more efficient and reach out to more women/community?

3. National priority

a. Is breast cancer a national priority disease?  If not, how can a national breast cancer control program get started? 

b. Is there a need to have a national cancer control program?  If not, why?

4. Addressing cultural issues associated with breast cancer diagnosis

a. Is there stigma/taboo and absence/little support for newly diagnosed women and breast cancer survivors? 

b. Are there effective ways to address this in a culturally-sensitive manner? 

c. How can already-existing programs be incorporated and expanded into larger efforts?

5. Ways to work together and engage other local NGOs/breast clinics/cancer centers in increasing BC awareness ( improving early diagnosis and survival. 

a. What are recommendations on developing BC advocacy/support community locally?

6. How to encourage and support the exchange/training between healthcare professionals: new breast cancer treatment and diagnosis techniques, etc.
