This is the United States privacy notice ("Privacy Notice") of Avis Budget Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates, including Budget Rent a Car System, Inc., Avis Rent A Car System LLC and Avis Budget Car Rental, LLC (collectively, "ABG," "we," "us" or "our"). This Privacy Notice explains how ABG collects, uses, retain and discloses your personal information in compliance with applicable United States federal or state privacy legislation ("Privacy Laws"). Please see "Scope of this Privacy Notice" for important information regarding our independent licensees or franchisees. This Privacy Notice also explains how you can correct or change the personal information we hold about you, or opt-out of receiving certain marketing materials.

We strongly recommend that you read this Privacy Notice and check it on a regular basis in the event we make changes.

ABG has been awarded TRUSTe's Privacy Seal signifying that this privacy policy and practices have been reviewed by TRUSTe for compliance with TRUSTe's program requirements including transparency, accountability and choice regarding the collection and use of your personal information. Scope of this Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice is applicable to personal information that you provide to ABG in the United States.

This Privacy Notice does not apply to personal information you provide to any ABG entities located outside of the United States.

This Privacy Notice does not apply to personal information you provide to companies outside the ABG group of companies that may be affiliated with ABG, as those companies will have their own privacy notices.

Additionally, this Privacy Notice does not apply to those ABG-branded locations that are owned and operated by an independent licensee or franchisee. Each independent licensee and franchisee collects, uses and discloses personal information for its own purposes and pursuant to its own privacy notice. ABG does not control the independent licensee's or franchisee's use of this personal information. For credit card transactions, the independent licensee or franchisee - not ABG - collects and processes credit card information and receives payment for the vehicle rental services. Thus, the independent licensee or franchisee is subject to the merchant rules of the credit card processors it selects. This Privacy Notice also does not apply to an independent licensee's website. Licensees and franchisees may also use email campaigns and other methods of telephone, electronic, and direct mail solicitation without our consent or knowledge and are solely responsible for their content and methods of identifying and contacting addressees. These licensees and franchisees are solely responsible for complying with Privacy Laws.

Accountability

ABG has appointed a Privacy Officer. If you have questions regarding this policy or concerns with respect to ABG's compliance with the requirements of any Privacy Laws, you may contact ABG's Privacy Officer.

Consent

When you submit your personal information to us, we obtain your express or implied consent to the collection, use, retention and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Notice and any additional information provided to you at the point of collection.

We or an unaffiliated service provider may process and/or store your personal information, as permitted by this Privacy Notice, outside of the United States. Your personal information will be also be subject to the laws of those other jurisdictions, including, in certain circumstances, requirements to make production of or provide access to your personal information to courts, law enforcement agencies, regulatory agencies or security authorities in those other jurisdictions. At any time, you can opt-out of our use and disclosure of your personal information for marketing purposes and customer satisfaction surveys, and/or withdraw your prior consent for the same.

How We Collect Your Information

We may collect your personal information directly from you by telephone, fax, postal mail, email, at the counter, upon completion of an application or enrollment form, or through your use of our website or the Internet (including using our online reservation system). To the extent you use our website, we may also collect information (both personal and non-personal information) about your use of our website, transactional and account information, e-mail and other information related to communications to our website.

You may choose not to provide some or all of your personal information to us, but this may prevent us from providing our services to you, or limit our ability to provide you with the level of service that you would otherwise expect from us.

We may also collect personal information about you indirectly through a travel agent, an account program in which you or your employer participates or through one of our partner programs when you deal with us through those means. Additionally, if you have consented to third parties selling or renting your personal information, we may obtain additional information about you from them, including demographic information, such as the number and ages of children, and financial information, such as income bracket. As the specific type of information will vary depending upon what consent you have provided to such third parties, you may contact us using one of the methods described below in order to get a list of the information about you.

What Personal information ABG Collects

When you make a reservation, rent a car, and/or join any of ABG's programs, we collect certain information about you in order to provide our services, marketing and other purposes described in this policy. Here are some examples of information we collect about you:

• Name

• Email Address

• Home and/or Business Address

• Telephone Numbers at which we can contact you

• Date of Birth

• Payment Information (i.e. debit or credit card and expiration date - security code is obtained for transaction only and is not retained)

• Information from and about your Driver's License or other Government issued identification (e.g., Passport), including whether your license is valid and in good standing

• Rental history with us, including any accidents with our cars

• Communications with you relating to customer service inquiries and complaints

• Information about your device such as the operating system version and application version

We may also need certain information from you when you request any of the following services and/or equipment: Special Needs/Optional Equipment, Special Offers/Discounts, Partner Member Numbers, use of an ABG preferred account number or discount number, Frequent Traveler numbers and Car Preferences. For example, if you wish to use a discount that ABG provides to members of an association to which you belong, we will collect information about your membership in that association, both to verify your membership and to provide you with the correct discount for our services.

In addition, to better serve our more frequent travelers, ABG offers customized rental services on a membership basis. If you wish to join and request one of these services, such as Preferred Service, President's Club, Chairman's Club, Avis Weekender Club, Avis First, AWD, Fastbreak, RapidRez, BCD, or other loyalty or membership program, ABG may need more information than is required for providing standard car rental service in order to provide you with these customized services.

When you rent a vehicle, we will also record non-personal information about your rental (e.g. where you rented the car, where and when you returned the car, payment arrangements, insurance preferences, gas consumption, mileage and other information related to the vehicle rental) in order to administer your rental reservation and/or process your transaction. Some of our rental locations are equipped with video monitoring for security purposes, which may capture your image while you are on our property. Notices are posted at these locations.

Limiting Use, Disclosure, and Retention

The purposes for which we use and disclose your personal information is provided in "How Personal Information is Used and Disclosed by ABG".

We retain the personal information of our customers for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was originally collected and/or as long as necessary to meet any legal, auditing, or account requirements.

How Personal Information is Used and Disclosed by ABG

Usage

We strive to ensure that we give you a stress-free rental experience and are dedicated to building a rewarding and lasting relationship with every customer. To provide the level of service we believe you expect from us, we may use your personal information for the following purposes:

• Provide and administer the services that you request, and communicate with you regarding such services and offerings;

• Research, develop, manage, protect and improve our website and services;

• Maintain and develop our service-oriented software and other business systems; and

• Analyze data, or to have a third party do so on our behalf, in order to provide customized services and product offerings.

• Respond to customer service inquiries and complaints;

• Keep track of the device the reservations came from.

We may also use your information - both personal and non-personal information - for other purposes. For example, personal information may be needed to process and track your transactions or to send you information about our affiliates' and business partners' products and services and other information and materials that may be of interest to you. If you use our website, we may also use your information to evaluate what portions of our website are visited more often than others, determine where visitors came from, where they go, and how long they stay on a particular page, or on our websites in general.

We also may combine your personal information with information obtained from other sources, including third parties (for more information, see above under "How We Collect Your Information"), in order to provide you with more customized services and product offerings. To do this, it is often necessary to share your information with trusted vendors and business partners, such as companies that manage accounts, offer affinity, frequent-user, and reward programs, and companies that perform marketing services and other business operations for us. If you have not opted out of receiving marketing materials, we may use and disclose your personal information to offer you products and services provided by ABG and its licensees and franchisees worldwide. We may also use your personal information to offer you products and services provided by ABG System program partner organizations (see "About the ABG System" below). While these organizations change over time, our program partners are generally from the transportation, vacation, and other travel related sectors. Disclosing

We may be legally required to disclose your personal information to third parties. In other instances, we may need to disclose your personal information to be able to provide you with the services you request. We may disclose your personal information to the following entities:

• To your company or organization if you use our services under a corporate, membership or other commercial account;

• To one of our program partners (e.g. if you are a member of a frequent traveler program and you have asked us to send it details of your rental agreement with us to obtain your benefits from that program);

• To entities that provide services on our behalf;

• To any intermediary you use, such as a travel agent, broker or booking engine, in relation to any aspect of your rental;

• To independent licensees for use in providing the services and offerings which you have requested and to communicate with you regarding such services and offerings;

• To your credit card issuer;

• To credit reporting and fraud checking agencies;

• To debt collection agencies, if you fail to pay monies owed to us;

• To government or private organizations responsible for the processing or handling of traffic or parking related violations;

• To driver licensing authorities, directly or through intermediary organizations, when needed to verify compliance with ABG's safe driver criteria for qualified drivers and/or to verify license information; and

• To government, regulatory and law enforcement agencies where the disclosure is required or authorized by law, and otherwise as we believe is necessary or appropriate to satisfy any law, regulation or other governmental request, to operate our websites properly, or to protect or defend our rights or the rights or well-being of our employees, users or others or if you are involved (or are suspected by governmental authorities or our security functions to be involved) in any illegal activity, even without a subpoena, warrant or court order.

We may disclose your personal information to our non-affiliated business partners for their use both on our behalf and for their own business purposes with your consent. For example, our business partners may use such personal information to send you information about their products and services and other information and materials that may be of interest to you. You may of us disclosing your personal for these purposes at any time through one of the methods described in this Privacy Notice.

We may share your personal information with other non-affiliated third parties that provide services for our websites or for our business (e.g., advertisers, ad servers, content providers, services providers, credit card processors, data processors, website development and support, fulfillment services providers, e-mail list hosting companies and distribution companies) and that use such personal information on our behalf consistent with this Privacy Notice. These types of third parties are not permitted to use your personal information for any purpose other than what we are engaging them to do.

We may also transfer or assign your personal information to third parties as a result of or in connection with a sale, merger, amalgamation, consolidation, change in control, transfer of assets, reorganization, or liquidation.

Website Tracking and the Use of Cookies and Other Technologies

If you use our website, certain information may be collected from your computer in the course of your use of our website. We may use both session based and persistent "cookies" and/or other technology (e.g., web bugs, e-mail bugs, clear GIFs, web beacons, tracker GIFs and "clickstream" data logs) in our website or in our electronic communications with you to enhance the functionality of our website and services. These technologies also make your transactions and other activities more convenient and efficient.

Cookies

"Cookies" are small amounts of data that a website can send to your web browser and store on your computer. It is our policy not to save sensitive data, such as passwords or credit card information in cookies.

However, note that some parts of our website will not function properly or may be considerably slower if you refuse cookies. ABG has two (2) primary uses for cookies. First, we use them to specify a user's preferences. For example, we use cookies to store information about your travel preferences or rental history so you don't have to tell us repeatedly your preferences. Second, we use cookies to track website usage trends and patterns. This helps us understand our users' needs better and improve areas of our website. We will also use the information to tailor our marketing efforts to be specific to what we believe you will find interesting and relevant.

IP Addresses

An IP address is a unique number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are surfing the Internet so that your computer can be identified by the main computers, known as "Web servers," that "serve up" Web pages. This allows us to gather useful information and data about our customers' use of the site, such as the Web pages viewed on , , , , and .

ABG collects IP addresses for the purposes of: helping us diagnose problems with our main computers, for system administration, to report aggregated information to our business partners, and to audit the use of our website. When users request Web pages from our Website, our Web servers log the User's IP address. For example, we collect and/or track the home server domain name, the type of computer, and the type of Web browser used by you to access this Website. Such collection and tracking information is gathered by us as you navigate through our website, and will be used by us for our business purposes only.

Although a user's session will be logged, the user will ordinarily remain anonymous to us. In select instances, we may use IP addresses to help us identify you when we feel it is necessary to enforce compliance with our website Terms of Use or to protect our service, site, users, or others.

Geolocation

If you choose to allow it, our applications may collect location markers (geolocation data) using a GPS device built into or attached to your computer or mobile device or other methods, such as mapped wifi routers or cell identifiers from broadcast towers. You may adjust the settings of your computer or mobile device to turn off transmission of geolocation data at any time by updating the settings on your device.

Third Party Use of Technologies

Third parties (including, but not limited to, software vendors, advertisers, ad servers, content providers, and services providers) may also use similar technologies by or through our website or through their own websites. In connection therewith, such entities may collect information about you and your usage activity on this and other websites. ABG does not control these third parties and is not responsible for the actions of our third party business partners. We encourage you to check their terms of use and privacy policies for such information.

We use third-party servicing technology and service providers to serve ads on our behalf across the Internet and sometimes on our website. They may collect non-personal information about your visits to our website, and your interaction with our products and services. They may also use non-personal information about your visits to send you targeted advertisements for goods and services. If you wish to not have this information used for the purpose of serving you targeted ads, you may opt-out by clicking here. Please note this does not opt you out of being served advertising. You will continue to receive generic ads.

We may also share website usage information about visitors to our website with selected third parties for the purpose of targeting our Internet banner advertisements on our website and other websites. To do this, we use web beacons and cookies provided by our third-party ad server on our Site. In connection therewith, such third parties may have access to and use non-personalized information about your online usage activity. Web Beacons

Our third party tracking utility partners employ a software technology called Web beacons, that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. Web beacons are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. We do not tie the information gathered by web beacons to our customer's personal information.

Mobile Analytics

We use mobile analytics software to allow us to better understand the functionality of our Mobile Software on your phone. This software may record information such as how often you use the application, the events that occur within the application, aggregated usage, performance data, and where the application was downloaded from. We do not link the information we store within the analytics software to any personally identifiable information you submit within the mobile app.

Visiting Third Party Websites

Our website or mobile site may contain Links to third party websites. These websites are not under the control of ABG are provided solely for the convenience of our users. Our Privacy Notice does not apply to such websites and we do not control the privacy practices of these third party websites. We encourage you to check the terms of use and privacy policies of such sites before disclosing any personal information via such sites.

Even if you see an ABG affiliate logo or an ABG affiliate website frame, you should not assume that you are on an ABG website. You can see what website you are on by checking the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) in the location bar within your browser. If you are on a third party website, your personal information will be subject to the privacy practices of that third party. The information collection practices of the third party's website will apply, and may differ from ABG's. The privacy notice of the third party site will govern how information collected from you is used and disclosed by the owner of the website.

Linking your ABG Accounts to Your Social Profiles

Social Authentication

In order to provide you with more personalized services, we may give you the option of linking your social profiles with your ABG accounts on our website. Currently, some of our websites allow you to link social profiles from Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google and Windows Live. We may add or remove the availability of any or all platforms at any time in our sole discretion. This functionality is entirely optional for all users and you may link or unlink your account(s) at any time by updating your settings on the applicable website.

What Information is Collected from Your Social Profiles and What It's Used for If you exercise the option to link your social profile to any of our website, we may collect personal information and additional information from your social profiles, which will be used by ABG and agents acting on our behalf to customize your ABG customer experience. Some examples of the type of information we may collect from these social profiles include:

• profile picture, gender, marital status, sexual preference, birthday, list of friends (but not the information on your friends' social profiles unless they have also linked their profiles)

• Professional Information such as prior and current work history

• Personal Likes, Activities and Interest Information

The information we collect may be used to:

• Serve you customized offers and deals on our website

• Send you email offers with special deals and discounts

• Send you offers by mobile phone text messages

• Update your profile information on our website

• Publish check-in and check-out information to your linked social media accounts

• Share your upcoming trips with friends

• View your friends' that have linked their profiles upcoming trips

Unlinking Your Accounts

You may unlink your social profiles at any time. In order to unlink your profiles, you must log into each ABG account that has been linked, click on the "Social Media Preferences" tab, and then select "Unlink" next to the social media channel you wish to unlink.

Social Sharing

In an effort to provide our customers with new ways of sharing content, we have enabled some of our online content to be shared on social websites through hosted sharing links and icons. Users who share content and links through their social media profiles should be aware that all activities of this nature are public.

Please note, when you share (with or without adding your own comments) any of our content on your social media profile, that action is governed by the privacy notice of that social media platform, and not ABG's Privacy Notice. We do not track or store a record of those comments or actions.

If you choose to participate in posting or sharing activities, you are electing to share and display such public activities via our website. Due to the public nature of your posting or sharing, your posts may appear on our websites, be included in RSS feeds, APIs (application program interfaces), and may also be made available to other websites via other formats. As a result, your public activities may appear on third-party websites, blogs, or feeds. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION YOU CHOOSE TO MAKE PUBLIC VIA YOUR SHARED POSTS.

Social Media Features

Our Web site includes Social Media Features, such as the Facebook Like button. These Features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly. Social Media Features are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. Your interactions with these Features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

Safeguards

We use firewalls and Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to protect some of your more sensitive personal information. We employ administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, modification or disclosure. However, we do not guarantee security of personal information transmitted over the Internet or stored by us and your use of our website and services are subject to our Terms of Use, including disclaimers of liability.

You are responsible for maintaining the strict confidentiality of your account passcode, membership numbers and pin numbers, and you will be responsible for any access to or use of our website by you or any person or entity using a passcode provided to you, whether or not such access or use has been authorized by or on behalf of you, and whether or not such person or entity is your employee, relative or agent. In the event of the unauthorized use of your passcode, account, or membership number, or any other breach of security involving your information as it pertains to ABG, you agree to immediately notify us. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session, control the dissemination and use of your passcode, control access to and use of your account and membership number, and notify us when you desire to cancel your account on our website. We do not request your sensitive personal information, such as your credit card number, passcode, membership number or pin number, in an e-mail, text or on a website that is not located at the domain name used by ABG or an affiliate (for example , Avis.ca, , Budget.ca, or Budgettruck.ca). IF YOU RECEIVE AN E-MAIL OR OTHER CORRESPONDENCE REQUESTING THAT YOU PROVIDE ANY SUCH INFORMATION VIA E-MAIL OR TO A WEBSITE THAT IS NOT ON SUCH DOMAIN NAME, PLEASE DO NOT PROVIDE SUCH INFORMATION, AND REPORT SUCH REQUEST TO OUR PRIVACY OFFICER AT ABGprivacy@.

How to Opt-Out of Receiving Marketing Materials from Us

You can opt-out of our use and disclosure of your personal information for marketing purposes and customer satisfaction surveys, and/or withdraw your prior consent for same, by the methods provided below. Please note that it often takes some time to process these requests. Therefore, it is possible that you may receive promotions scheduled prior to our receipt of your withdrawal of consent.

To easily manage your all of your preferences, please log onto your account with us at . You will be able to request an opt out for receiving marketing materials from us for all of the email accounts you have linked to your account.

Alternately, or if you do not have an account with us, you may click on the unsubscribe link in any promotional or marketing e-mail that you have received from us, or you can email us directly at custserv@ for Avis or budgetcustomerservice@ for Budget. However, if you use more than one e-mail address, then you must follow this procedure for each of your e-mail addresses.

We may also provide additional methods for you to opt-out of having your personal information used or disclosed for promotional and marketing purposes, such as by clicking on a checkbox located on the page of our website on which your personal information is collected, or otherwise made available when you make reservations.

Please note that your option not to receive promotional and marketing material: (a) will not preclude us from corresponding with you, by e-mail or otherwise, regarding your preexisting business relationship with us (e.g., your account status and activity or our responses to questions or inquiries you pose to us, or confirmations for existing reservations); (b) will not preclude us, including our employees, contractors, agents and other representatives, from retaining and accessing your personal information, and using and disclosing it as described in this Privacy Notice for purposes other than sending you promotional and marketing materials.

Individual Access

You may access any personal information that we have collected about you subject to certain exceptions. We will normally provide access without charge unless you either request access to a large volume of information, or we have to access archived records to obtain the information. In these circumstances, we may impose a reasonable fee. We will advise you of that fee in advance. You may challenge the reasonableness of the cost. Details of how to contact us are set out below. There may be instances where we may not be able to provide you access to your personal information, for certain reasons. Among these are: it has been destroyed or deleted after expiry of applicable retention periods, it contains personal information of other persons or it contains commercially sensitive or proprietary information owned by us. About the ABG System<
