They will be prepared freshly for non contact deliveries and payment by bacs only. The evidence suggests there is a very low risk of coronavirus being transmitted by exposure to food or food packaging. I will continue to work to the highest standards of hygiene when handling products, and as always, will be strictly adhering to safety processes from the Food Standard’s Agency and Public Health England to prevent the further spread of coronavirus. During this time of uncertainty I will not take deposit payments at the time the order is placed, I will just request the full payment 48 hours before your bake is due to be delivered.Please note that if myself or any member of my household develops symptoms associated with Covid-19 then I may need to cancel your order at short notice, possibly after payment has been received. In this instance, please accept my sincere apologies and note that I will either issue a full refund or defer this payment onto a later date if that is your preferred option. Please also note that it has so far proven tricky to purchase certain ingredients and consumables but I restart my baking with modest supplies. I will continue to source many of my ingredients and packaging online in bulk and will not make unnecessary extra journeys to the supermarket to buy just one ingredient while restrictions are in place. This may mean that slight changes may need to be made to the recipe or finished design of your bake, I will discuss these with you should this issue occur. I do hope you understand and appreciate my decisions with regards to shopping.I am currently unable to accept orders for gluten free bakes, I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.PricesYou agree to pay the company the price as quoted on your Order Form. All of our prices exclude VAT. We will inform you if we become VAT eligible.Bookings & DepositsAll orders and booking dates are only secured with a non-refundable deposit. Once deposits are received and cleared, your booking date will then be fully secured. All wedding cake orders require a non-refundable deposit of 50%. Other celebration cakes, cupcakes, traybakes and treats require a non-refundable deposit of 25%. Cupcake parties/workshops and equipment hire also require a non-refundable deposit of 25%.Final PaymentsFull balance is due at least 1 week prior to the cake collection or delivery date, party or workshop date or hire date as specified on your order form. On your initial invoice, the date of the full balance will be included and a reminder of the final amount will be emailed to you no less than 7 days before payment is due. Failure to make payment on the remaining balance may result in your order being cancelled and your date being made available to someone else. If an order is made and agreed in principal less than 1 week before the date required, then full payment must be made on receipt of the initial invoice. Payment methods accepted are cash, cheque or BACS. Cheques are to be made payable to “Jacqueline Henderson” and sent to the address above. Please allow an additional 5 working days for cheques to be banked and cleared. Please write your name and invoice number on the reverse of the cheque. Once payment has been received an email confirmation receipt will be sent to you.Late or Non-PaymentsLate or non-payments could result in loss of your booking date. In the event of a late or non-payment, the order will not proceed until alternative funding has been agreed and payment made in full. In these circumstances, subsequent completion of the order on the required date will not be guaranteed and becomes subject to availability.CancellationsWedding Cakes: 4 weeks or more: 50% of the total cost will be retained. Less than 4 weeks: 100% of the total cost payable.Other Celebration Cakes, traybakes and treats: 1 week or more: 25% non-refundable deposit will be retained. Less than 1 week: 100% of the total cost payable.Cupcake Parties / Workshops and equipment hire: 4 weeks or more: 25% non-refundable deposit will be retained. Less than 2 weeks: 100% of the total cost payable.All cancellations must be made in writing by either post or email to the address above. Verbal phone cancellations will not be binding.Page 1 of 2Change of Wedding dateIf, for any reason you wish to re-arrange the date of your wedding, we will try our best to accommodate these changes without any additional charges, provided sufficient notice is given and that we are able to provide a cake for the re-arranged wedding date. However, if we are fully booked on your new wedding date and cannot provide the wedding cake, it will not be possible to refund your deposit. The limiting factor with any cake provision is usually the cake set-up. As a compromise, it may be possible to provide you with a cake prior to your wedding date, but under these circumstances it will become your responsibility to collect, deliver and set-up the cake at the venue. If you cancel your wedding cake order with us after requesting a change of date, no refunds will be made to you (the client) under any circumstances.Change of Cupcake Party dateIf, for any reason you wish to re-arrange the date of your cupcake party, we will try our best to accommodate these changes without any additional charges, provided sufficient notice is given and that we are able to provide the required cupcakes, materials, equipment and party host for the re-arranged party date. If you cancel your cupcake party with us after requesting a change of date, no refunds will be made to you (the client) under any circumstances.Stand and Equipment HireWe have a range of stands, bases, cupcake tower stands and party equipment available for hire. All stands and equipment require a deposit (specified on your invoice), in addition to the hire charges, which is fully refundable on return of the hired item. Any damages will be deducted from the deposit. In the event that damages are excessive, or a loss has occurred then the deposit will be retained.Delivery/CollectionOn the day of collection, your order may be collected at a pre-arranged time, as agreed on your Order Form. Should you wish to change the collection details we will do our best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee availability.Deliveries: We will deliver at the time and address agreed with the customer on the invoice. If we can’t deliver because there is no one to receive the product or the address provided is wrong, the product will return to our kitchen and will be held for a maximum time of 24 hours.Delivery/Setting up of your Cake at VenuesYou (or any third party taking delivery, e.g. hotel/wedding planner etc.) shall be solely responsible for any damage to any products which occurs (i) after the delivery or collection of any product and/or (ii) as a result of failure to follow any instructions/advice we may give in respect of storage or setting up or of further transportation of the cake.Cupcake Parties / WorkshopsOn the day of the party / workshop, a party host will arrive at a pre-arranged time, with the pre-arranged goods and equipment, as agreed on your order form. It is you (the clients) responsibility to provide enough tables and chairs already set up for the number of participants and a sink for hand washing and washing dishes (our host will set the table tops, wash up any equipment used that is to be returned to our kitchen and clear down the table tops. They will not collapse and put away tables and chairs and they will only sweep the immediate floor area). It is your responsibility to provide a bin and to responsibly dispose of any rubbish generated from your party. Our host will not remove rubbish from your venue. Should you wish to have music at your party, you will need to provide this and the speaker system yourself.AllergiesAny special recipe request such as ‘no nuts’ will be met wherever possible. However, whilst your chosen cake will not be made with nuts or a nut product, no absolute nut free guarantees can be given, as some ingredients are not guaranteed nut free by the manufacturers.
