Group Project Guidelines-Part 2Each respective group should have the company selected and approved by me by now. As mentioned previously, you shall be looking into the Complete Business Communication Process of the Company or the segment you are dealing with. Once you have analyzed the process you are required to detail the Existing Problems of that Current Business Communication process. And the final segment of the report will deal with the Recommendations that you will provide in order to enhance or solve the business communication problems/issues that you found out from your research. Reports are Due for ALL GROUPS on the first day of the presentation for each respective sections (mentioned in course outline). For a more specific checklist you must include the following:You must have a purpose/problem statement that you are addressing. (Mentioned/Will be mentioned in class)You can state your problem/purpose statement in any one of the three formats that we discussed in class. Briefly provide the context of the communication issue that you are addressing in your purpose statement and explain why it is important to explore it.Look at communication from all aspects, stakeholders: internal and external. All the ways the organization communicates to all their stakeholders. If you are confused about who stakeholders are, check back to class notes and slides. Or speak to me about your specific company. - BE THOROUGH- I WILL ASK QUESTIONS IN YOUR PRESENTATION TO CHECK WETHER YOU HAVE ACTUALLY DONE YOUR WORK.Do your research (look up into the internet what are communication issues in an organization that hampers smooth running of the business) and find out the factors that affect communication issues in your specific organization and industry. Mention the different types of research you are undertaking in details. (Both Primary and Secondary)Expand the factors found from your research. Try to relate the theoretical perspectives taught in class with the issues found in your specific organization. The more you relate to your coursework the better the quality of your report (i.e. the better marks you get!!!!)Interpret your findings. Please follow the guidelines I taught/will teach in class.Provide recommendations to solve the existing communication problems. Have a separate section for this, Be thorough in this section, it carries a large portion of total marks.Conclude with a summary of what has been done and what you have found. Remember to not make the mistakes with the conclusion as discussed in class.Include the name, contact and business card of those you have interviewed in the Appendix. No image is necessary.
