This will involve:- meeting and exceeding KPIs on incoming and external sales leads, preparing and achieving a sales achievement plan, creating key account plans (including buying patterns, market trends and future business potential), Working closely with Marketing to agreeing the support materials which will enhance business development activity and campaigns develop and implement marketing campaigns, maintaining rolling forecasts, preparing tenders/bids/quotes..Creating appointments and attend meetings which will create additional revenue from current and new clients. To support the business strategy for growth into commercial sectors.Identifying new leadsPitching products and /or services – with the support of business managers / experts and marketingRetaining and nurturing current and new client relationshipsDuties and Responsibilities:To work with the Managing Director and Marketing team to build and develop a portfolio of new accounts To research new sales opportunities and to actively generate leads via activities such as: purchase of lists, email and telesales marketing, networking and exhibitions.To utilise social media links to maximise our brand, visibility and sales volumes in your area.To prospect and open new accounts to meet and exceed sales targets, develop a pipeline and sustain new businessTo produce an effective call cycle, ensuring total area coverage and achieve agreed number of calls per day recording hit rate on a CRM system.To liaise with the marketing team and Business Managers for support on market and competitor research, presentation materials, and tender writingTo liaise with all Business area heads to profitably grow their market share through sales strategy, and product knowledge. To maintain and organically harvest existing relationships driving quality and volumeTo research and discover avenues for tender bids To compile and present proposals to customers and prepare monthly reportsResources:The post holder will be responsible for the care of all items of ICT equipment supplied for their use, including communications equipment, hardware and software packages, especially when interrogating, inputting and extracting data.Job Activities: The Business Development Managers will work with mid and senior level management, marketing, and technical staff within Totally Local Company.
