Logo Surfing Promotional Products, is a solution provider in the promotional products industry, is currently seeking a business development manager. Geographic territory is open, as that will be determined based on the most qualified candidate selected for the role. This highly visible Business Development Manager position is part of a strategic initiative focused on aggressive growth of promotional products revenue within the Fortune 1000 market.

Primary Responsibilities

Aggressive pursuit of targeted F1000 companies within assigned geographic region via cold calling, telemarketing and face to face appointments.

Execution of business development sales strategies to move targeted prospects to active opportunities, while positioning Logo Surfing Promotional Products as the preferred solution for decision makers and influencers within both the Marketing/Brand Management and Procurement areas of target companies.

Prepare for consultative account pursuit through diligent and thorough research, demonstrating knowledge of prospective customers industries and specific business issues and challenges facing them.

When appropriate, effectively collaborate with Logo Surfing Promotional Product’s Director of Sales, in order to secure contractual relationships in the promotional products category as part of a broader customer relationship with Logo Surfing Promotional Products.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in business, marketing or a related discipline

The ideal candidate has 2 years of demonstrated successful strategic selling experience in the F1000 market (this is a selling role, not sales management). • Track record and existing promotional products clients.

Experience in the promotional products industry would be very beneficial, or, we would favor candidates with C-level selling success in marketing services, such as the incentive industry or the sales promotion / advertising industry

Impeccable oral and written communication skills and persuasive interpersonal and formal presentation skills

Candidates must have demonstrated ability with prospecting and selling individually.

Candidates must have a thorough and deep understanding and familiarity of their current geographic marketplace and be well connected, or able to quickly connect with decision makers and influencers within the marketing/brand management and procurement areas of the targeted organizations within their market.

Self starter with strong self-management skills and demonstrated success in larger contract long sell cycle environments.

Strong PC software skills (Microsoft Office) are necessary.
