Scriptures for Every Situation - Jesse Rich Ministries

Scriptures for Every Situation:

This is a continuation of yesterday's Daily Devotional. These are some scriptures that I want to share with you to help build you up in general areas of believing God's Word. They have been a great help and benefit to My faith walk.

For Finances:

Malachi 3:10-12 10Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. 11And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts. 12And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts. 2 Corinthians 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

For Divine Healing and Divine Health:

Matthew 8:17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. 1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. Galatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 3 John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

When faced with concern of ability to perform a task or duty:

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. 1 Corinthians 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. Daniel 1:17 As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

For Wisdom and Guidance:

Proverbs 3:4, 5 4So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. 5Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. James 1:5-8 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. Romans 8:26-28 26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. 28And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

When Faced with Fear:

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment.

Walking in Love:

1 Corinthians13:4-8

4Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

8Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

Believing God that he has heard your prayer and has answered: Mark 11:24

John 16:23, 24

23And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. 24Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

John 15:7

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

If you are in any kind of need: Spiritual, Physical, or Financial:

Philippians 4:19

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Psalm 23:1

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want

Protection:

91st Psalm

1He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. 3Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. 4He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. 5Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 6Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. 8Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

9Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 11For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. 12They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. 13Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. 14Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. 15He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be

with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. 16With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

When Praying for Loved Ones:

Ephesians 1: 16-23

16Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Ephesians 3: 14-21

14For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. 20Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Take these verses and use them and quote them until they become your verses. They need to become your own personal verses to where you know for yourself in your heart that these verses work, because you've proven them out for yourself. A lot of scriptures that I use today in my own personal life and ministry are from when I first became acquainted with them. I believed them because they were in the Bible, but I didn't have them in my heart. I began to realize that I was going to have to take these scriptures and start using them for myself to where I could get them to work for me.

For instance, I started tithing and giving to the gospel when I got saved. I heard preachers preach about tithing and giving scriptures, such as Luke 6:38, and I realized that I didn't believe that if I would give money to the gospel, God would cause men to give unto me. In my prayer time, the Lord began to deal with me in my heart (and He still does to this day). He let me know that I did not believe that people would give unto me if I would give unto God.

The Lord said, "You don't believe My Word; you're doubting Me". So, I took Luke 6:38, and every night, when I would go to bed, I would quote them to myself until I fell asleep. I did that for over a year. Instead of just falling asleep and letting my mind think on whatever it wanted to think about, I would discipline it and make it think on the Word of God. Of course, your mind never wants to do things like that. But, remember what God told Joshua in Joshua 1:8 :

So, it's important that we meditate on the Word day and night. It took me a long time to renew my mind to Luke 6:38. I had no problem tithing to the gospel, and I enjoyed giving to other people, just like most people do. You just wish you had more to give. But I could not believe that people would start giving

unto me. That's when the Lord stepped in and started revealing to me that I didn't believe Him. I think it grieves God when we doubt His Word and don't believe Him. He's never lied to us; He's always told us the truth. He has never failed one time to come through for anyone that believed Him. So, take these scriptures and renew your mind to God's Word on a daily basis.

I look for to sharing with you tomorrow.
