4 First Friday All-Night Adoration in prayer for the advancement of the culture of life will be held at the Discalced Carmelite Monastery, 600 Flowers Ave., Dallas, located off of Jefferson Blvd. Security will be there throughout the night. Come as early as 5:00 p.m. Latin Masses at 8:00 p.m. Friday and 3:00 a.m. Saturday. Adoration ends just before the 7:00 a.m. Saturday Mass. These prayer vigils will be held every First Friday. 22       40 Days for Life-Dallas Kickoff Rally: 6:00 p.m., in front of Birth Choice, 1902 Record Crossing, Dallas 75235 (across the street from Robinson’s abortion center). Please bring your own candles and prayer books. Guest speaker is Fr. Paul Weinberger, pastor of St. William Catholic Church in Greenville. Fr. Weinberger is a faithful sidewalk counselor outside Routh Street abortion center, and regularly celebrates Mass at the White Rose Chapel where he presides over the Thursday Adoration. Our second guest speaker is Rev. Stephen Broden, pastor of Fair Park Bible Fellowship in Dallas. Pastor Broden is a member of the national pro-life organization L.E.A.R.N. (see ), and is one of the key black pastors fighting for the defunding of Planned Parenthood. He is featured in the documentary film Maafa 21: Black Genocide in 21st Century America, a whistle-blowing exposé on Planned Parenthood’s eugenics roots. 29       beingHUMAN II airs on EWTN: 5:30 p.m. Central Time. Episode II highlights the results of the national 40 Days for Life campaigns which have happened in 240 cities, including England, Ireland, Brazil and Peru. The show interviews local and national leaders and volunteers who were involved in making this local campaign one of the largest pro-life mobilizations in history. 40 Days for Life began as a small campaign that started at the Coalition for Life in Bryan/College Station, Texas in 2004. Now, this powerful campaign has mobilized over 215,000 volunteers, saved hundreds of lives, and helped abortion clinic workers leave their jobs. This episode looks at how thousands of people are uniting to bring prayer, fasting and peaceful vigil to where hope is being lost: abortion clinics. 4          Life Chain: 2:00 - 3:30 p.m., at more than 26 locations around the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Last year pro-life individuals in more than 1,600 locations in over 1,400 cities and towns across the United States and Canada gathered to show solidarity of the Christian community for life and adoption versus abortion. Life Chain is a peaceful, prayerful stand for life, and signs conveying this message are available at each site. 10 Strike for Life “Beach Bowl” Bowl-a-Thon: 1:00 - 4:00 p.m., at the Plano Super Bowl, 2521 Avenue K, Plano. 16-18 Worldwide Rosary for Unborn Babies, sponsored by the Saint Michael the Archangel Organization. A person who wants to participate will pray at least one Rosary on any one of the three days for the following intention: For an end to the surgical and non-surgical killing of unborn human persons. We will be praying for those little ones who cannot pray the Rosary for themselves. The October 16 (Friday) date offers the opportunity for students to pray the Rosary together at schools. The October 18 (Sunday) date offers the opportunity for people to pray the Rosary either before or after Masses. There is no registration required to participate in this prayer event. 17       Respect Life Month Quarterly Mass, Adoration & Rosary Procession for an End to Abortion in Dallas & Mid Rally for the 40 Days for Life-Dallas Vigil: 8:00 a.m. Mass at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 3811 Oak Lawn, Dallas, with special prayers for the unborn and an end to abortion. Mass will be followed by Eucharistic Adoration and a Rosary Procession by bus to Robinson’s abortion center, 1929 Record Crossing Dallas (site of the Fall 40 Days for Life-Dallas Vigil). We will return to the church for Benediction. Following Benediction is a baby shower in the Marillac Parlor for Gabriel mothers who have chosen life for their babies. The Marillac Parlor is located in the Rectory which is the building across the patio from the church. Light refreshments will be served. Please join us and bring a new or gently used item for the new babies. Extra gifts will be given by the Convert-to-Life Ministry to mothers who have chosen life. With each successive episode, beingHUMAN challenges the viewer and gives them a deeper understanding of the issues surrounding abortion.
