Canadian artist Shania Twain recorded “What Made You Say That” for her first CD, Shania Twain, but the video, which was considered provocative for the world of country music, received much more attention than the CD. The song became a successful single, and Twain’s subsequent recording, The Woman in Me, was a mega-hit.
