If I wanted to go on about the benefits and growing cannabis in the U.S.; I could continue with the benefit it would have on the economy from taxing it to giving Americans more legal jobs to choose from.

III. CONCLUSION: We have already come so far with the success of legalizing the production of cannabis. Marijuana is already legal to use recreationally in a few states including Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Colorado, and even D.C. as well as a hand full of states that have legalized it for medical patients, which includes Utah. Decriminalization of marijuana is happening in other states which are basically like getting a speeding ticket for possessing a small amount of marijuana for personal use. We need to stop looking at cannabis as a plant that produces a drug for stoners and potheads and start looking at it as a source for natural products. Cannabis helps use produce medicine, beauty products, food supplements, and fibers for durable materials. This is a positive thing and we need to realize how much this could truly benefit all of us as a community and as an economy.
