Update from Mrs. Anoff?April 20, 2020Dear Lisbon Families,This week we begin the next phase of our distance learning model with elementary school students. Teachers will host family Virtual Orientations via Google Meet to connect with families and communicate distance learning schedules and expectations. Our school’s orientation schedule is listed below. Each grade level classroom teacher will hold two orientations to provide as much flexibility for families as possible. Families should join only one session. Grade-level teams will provide an orientation video for families who are unable to join a live virtual session.Wednesday, April 22Grades K and 1 Family Google Meet Orientations: 9:00-9:45 a.m. and 1:00-1:45 p.m.Grades 2 and 3 Family Google Meet Orientations: 10:00-10:45 a.m. and 2:00-2:45 p.m.Grades 4 and 5 Family Google Meet Orientations: 11:00-11:45 a.m. and 3:00-3:45 p.m.Today, classroom teachers will provide information for students to begin accessing Lexia??Core5?, the online reading program we will use for the remainder of the school closure. More information about Lexia??Core5?can be found?here. We encourage students to begin using?Lexia??Core5??this week and to continue to use DreamBox Learning?.For the remainder of the school closure, your child will access instructional materials and receive all communication from their teacher via CANVAS, the HCPSS learning management system. In order for students to participate in this week's orientation meeting, join future weekly check-ins, and to access instructional tasks in Canvas, they must log in using their HCPSS student account.
