|To assist Missouri citizens in creating stable families, performance competencies in the Family/Consumer Resource Management course taught in Family|

|and Consumer Sciences Education programs enable students to: |

|construct meaning through interpreting family values, needs and wants; |

|communicate effectively with family members and agencies that provide consumer products and services; |

|solve problems that impact family resource management; and |

|d) make decisions that contribute to economic stability and quality of life for families. |
