Dear Sir/Madame,
We are writing you to ask you to consider contributing to the Probation Association of New Jersey Educational Fund.
The Probation Association of New Jersey is an incorporated, non-profit organization of probation officers and other judiciary employees that serve as the only statewide voice for New Jersey’s probation officers and professional supervisors within the New Jersey Judiciary. The purpose of the Educational Fund is to improve public safety through the funding of specialized training not otherwise available to probation officers and to encourage New Jersey’s probation officers to regularly participate in the advanced study of their field. Each year, the PANJ, EF sponsors a three day training event in November. This year approximately 600 officers and others judicial employees will attend the conference. In addition to conducting this training conference, PANJ, EF, also sponsors scholarships to PANJ members and their families.
We are currently in the process of preparing for our 18th annual golf outing to be held May 5th at Mercer Oaks Golf Course in West Windsor, NJ. As in the past, we rely on contributions in the form of cash donations or giveaways to be used as prizes or raffles to help make our event a success. Last year our outing raised over $8000, contributing to our being able to hand out 5 scholarships of $2500 each. Your generous participation in our golf outing would be recognized on associated promotional materials and also at our annual training conference.
Our tax ID number is as follows: 22-3763314.
Should you have any questions regarding this event or the Association, please feel free to call us at (732)223-1799. Thank you for your support.
