Leslie M. Fox

Leslie M. Fox joined the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) in November of 2008 and currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Membership & Strategy. As ICSC engages in an organizational transformation to better meet the needs of an evolving industry, she is responsible for building membership and leading initiatives to enhance the experience for all members. Prior to this role, Ms. Fox served as Chief of Staff and Chief Strategy Officer, overseeing transformational change initiatives and providing guidance on high priority projects on behalf of the CEO and the Executive Board of the Board of Trustees. She began with ICSC as the Director of Legislative Outreach, where she directed public affairs campaigns on priority legislative issues, represented the industry before elected officials and promoted grassroots engagement opportunities before the membership.

Ms. Fox has more than 16 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining ICSC, she was the Director of State and Local Affairs for the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), where she developed strategic initiatives to promote political and grassroots advocacy campaigns at the federal, state and local levels. She also worked with various public policy groups and coalitions to ensure that industry interests were represented in policy discussions. Ms. Fox also served as the Director of State and Local Affairs for BOMA International where she implemented its first formal state and local government affairs program.

Ms. Fox received her M.B.A. from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland and her B.A. in Government from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky.
