? You need a smart d evice to comp lete the identity proofing p rocess & tw o-factor a uthentication device setup.

? If you a re unsuccessful on the first a ttempt in v erifying your id entity first, you will need to a ttempt to comp lete id entity p roofing a 2nd time b y selecting "Retry". Recommend trying a n a lternate identity v erification method on your 2nd a ttempt (for exa mple: if you chose to up load a p icture of your d riv er's license, try to a nswer q uestions a bout your cred it history). On the 2nd a nd on a ll successiv e a ttempts, you will be prompted with the option to "Talk to a n Agent" or to "Retry" the online p rocess.

? If you hav e a ttempted the online id entity p roofing p rocess numerous times and a re una ble to comp lete id entity v erification successfully, you should select "Talk to a n Agent" to sched ule a video chat with an ID.me Trusted Referee. The video cha t with an ID.me Trusted Referee will enable you to mov e forward in the ID.me workflow and complete identity verification.

Step 2-Confirm your email address

Once you have entered your email d uring the Sign Up or Sign I n process d escribed in Step -1, you will need to navigate to your email in order to click a link p rovided in the Confirma tion email to Confirm your email address. If you cannot find this email, please b e sure to check your Spam folder. If you cannot find the email a fter 10 minutes, click the link nea r the bottom of the p age to have the confirmation email sent a gain. If you still a re not receiv ing a confirmation email after multiple attempts, contact your local IT rep resentative to check your security settings a nd ensure that ID.me is a trusted sender.
