Mayport Naval Station, Jacksonville, FL, Wednesday, June 5, 2019, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Fitness Center on Bailey Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32228Naval Air Station (NAS), Jacksonville, FL, Thursday, June 6, 2019, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the River Cove Conference Center on Mustin Road. The targeted attendees will include Project Managers, Contracting Officers, Supply Officers, Credit Card Holders, end-users and many more. ?The base population includes: ?DoD employees, Contractors, Non-appropriated fund employees and Navy and Marine Active Duty members. Cost of one 6 foot draped table and two chairs will be $300.00 at each event if you register early. ?After May 15, 2018, late registration fee is $350.00. ?Continental breakfast and a box lunch will be provided. ?Please see attachment for additional information. Due to heightened security, drivers need to carry this information in their vehicles at all times.Base Access Information1. Once your registration fee has been collected, arrangements will be made for base access. Because of heighten security only American Citizens will be allowed to access the bases.2. To access Submarine Base Kings Bay: Everyone will need to fill out the security form for Kings Bay and fax to Tyra Cobb (912) 573-3780 (listed on Kings Bay consent form). ??Form will be provided. ?If you have questions about access to the Submarine Base please contact Tyra Cobb at (912) 573-9691.3. To access Naval Station Mayport: All attendees will submit Full Legal name (First Middle Last), date of birth, Driver’s License number, State Issued and last four numbers of social is required. ?To get on base you will need 2 forms of ID (license, passport, voter’s registration, etc.) and updated vehicle registration and insurance. ?All information will be sent to Mayport. 4. To access Naval Air Station Jacksonville: All attendees will submit Full Legal name (First Middle Last), date of birth, Driver’s License number, State Issued and last four numbers of social is required. ?The information will be collected and added to a list of names that will be sent to NAS JAX security for pre-printed passes. ?To get on base you will need 2 forms of ID (license, passport, voter’s registration, etc.) and updated vehicle registration and insurance. ?The pre-printed passes will be distributed in the morning on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at the security parking lot, Building 9 (Yorktown Main Gate). The Trade Show will be open from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Set-up is between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. the day of the show. 2. All vendors must remain set up until 2 p.m. 3. You will be provided one 6-foot draped table and 2 folding chairs. 4. Continental breakfast will be provided from 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. and a box lunch will also be provided between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. 5. Please estimate for at least 200 attendees for each of the Navy Trade Shows. ?Please limit the value of any give-a-ways to no more than $20.00.6. Cancellation policy: No refunds after May 31, 2019. 7. Additional seats may be purchased for $5.00 per seat.3Directions to Submarine Base Kings Bay From Orlando: Take I-95 North through Florida. Take the first exit in Georgia and turn right onto St. Mary’s Road. ?St. Mary’s Road ends at the Franklin Gate, which is the vendor’s gate. (On St. Mary’s Road you will pass through one stop light.) If you had a favorable background check, your name will be on a list at the front gate. ?If you need a background check, the Pass and ID Office is located immediately to your right before entering the gate. Once you are inside the gate and through the security checkpoint (where your vehicle will be inspected) you will need to be in the left lane on Franklin and make a left at the stoplight onto Madison. You will pass the Marine Barracks and TVQ’s, (Navy Gateway Inns and Suites) on your left; the Conference Center is located adjacent to the Navy Gateway Inns and Suites. You will turn into the parking area where the MWR TRIPLEX Conference Center Marque is located. From Georgia: Take I-95 South. Take the first exit in Georgia and turn right onto St. Mary’s Road. Take exit 337 Merge onto I-295/E Beltway N toward Jax Beaches. Take the State Hwy 10/Atlantic Blvd. exit 48. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Atlantic Beach/Neptune Beach/Jax Beach and merge onto Atlantic Blvd/SR10. Take the ramp onto A1A/Mayport Rd. Stay on Mayport Road and NS Mayport is at the end of the road. Once inside the base proceed to Bailey Avenue, Building 1391, Mayport Fitness Center. From Georgia: Take I-95 South entering Florida. Take exit 157A. Merge onto I-295 S / E Beltway S via exit 362A toward Blount Island/Jax Beaches, Take Monument Rd. exit. Turn left on Monument Road for approximately 2 miles. Turn right on McCormick Rd. Stay on that road and it will take you to Wonderwood Drive. Pass the Wonderwood Bridge and turn left on Mayport Rd. This will lead you to the base’s main gate. Once inside the base proceed to Bailey Avenue, Building 1391, Mayport Fitness Center. Directions to NAS Jacksonville From Orlando: Take I-95 North to I-295 North (Orange Park). Off of I-295 North take the Park Ave./US 17 exit. Go North on US 17, following the signs to NAS JAX. Go to Yorktown Avenue main gate entrance. Once you are inside the gate, travel down Yorktown Avenue to Mustin Road. Turn right on Mustin Road. The bases are all within one hour of each other.? The hotels at or near the Jacksonville airport are the most centrally located to all the bases.??2.? “Who comes to the shows and how many people attend?”? Please check out the information above on who attends the trade shows.? Last year we had the average at Kings Bay and Mayport (100 to 150). At NAS-JAX we had over 250 that walked the show.? The shows are base specific so each show will have different attendees.??3.? “Can I ship to the base ahead of time?”? You will need to send a request to Kristin Riddle (see above for contact information), who will in turn refer your request to the Managers of the facilities.? The recommendation is to send your packages to your hotel and then transport to the base the day of the show.4.? “Can I have large displays, will electricity be available?”? ?You can have any type of display as long as you do not encroach on another contractor's space.? You will be provided a 6 foot draped table with 2 chairs.? Each venue will be slightly different.? If you need electricity, state that on your registration form and Kristin will provide that information to the Managers at each facility.? Access to electricity is limited.? The tables are first come first serve, but the manager will do her best to accommodate each request.? If you wish to bring a large display for outside, please state that on your registration form and Kristin will inform the Managers of your request.? Each venue has an area outside to put some large displays.6.? “My business is based in Canada, but I see that only American Citizens are allowed to attend.? Can I still participate?”? You can still be part of our event. You will have to provide an employee that is an American citizen to man your table.5.? “Where do I send my registration form?? How do I know you have it??
