CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS

70th Anniversary Sunday

Next Sunday, January 28, we will celebrate Immanuel’s 70th Anniversary and have one morning service at 10AM. Our evening service will remain at 5:30PM.

Elder & Deacon Nominees

The council invites the congregation to submit names for consideration to be selected for the church offices of Elders and Deacons. To submit names, or if you have any questions, please contact your district elder or deacon by February 14.

As a reminder, the council approved a motion allowing women to serve in the office of Deacon.

Churchwide Email

We have begun using a different service, “Mail Chimp” for churchwide emails because not everyone was receiving our emails the way they were sent previously.

If you are not receiving churchwide emails through Mail Chimp now, and would like to receive them, please email the church office (office@) and we will add you to the list.

Through Mail Chimp, you may change your email address or unsubscribe at any time. This info is located at the bottom of the emails.

GEMS Supper

You are invited to join the GEMS girls for supper on Wednesday, February 7, 5-7PM. This is our annual supper to raise money for the GEMS Esther School in Zambia -- for construction projects and to sponsor a child. We will also have a bake sale and you can purchase some yummy treats. Check out the flier in your mailbox for more details and to RSVP.

Calling all Bakers!

We will be having a bake sale at our GEMS supper on February 7. Would you be willing to bake something for the sale? It could be a pie or cake or a dozen cookies/bars . . . Please put it in a disposable container for someone to purchase. You can bring your item to the church kitchen on February 6 or 7.  Thanks for supporting the GEMS in this way!

Hand2Hand

For the month of January, we are collecting chunky soup and jiffy corn bread.

Supper for Seven

Sign-up information was placed in mailboxes for “Supper for Seven” on February 17th.  This is a fun evening to enjoy fellowship and a meal with adults of all ages in our church! If you haven't done this before, please join us!

For more information or questions, contact Kristin Van Solkema. Sign-up deadline is Sunday, 2/4.

Lost & Found Box

The box is overflowing! Also, some coats have been hanging above the box since early winter. Check it out and see if anything belongs to you. After 2 weeks, everything will be donated to Love INC.
