Citing Sources:

Your essay should contain a balance of your own ideas, as well as the facts, quotations, data and insights of others, gathered from a variety of sources. To acknowledge works consulted, include a bibliography at the end of your essay, as well as in-text citations.

Select a style that is appropriate for your subject and stick to it. Be consistent!

Stay Organized ... Don't lose your hard work Certain databases like Bloom's and Questia allow you to create personal folders to save your research history. Otherwise, backup your gathered information on a flash drive, email address, or the cloud. We suggest you use Noodletools to save your citations.

Start a keyword search in Destiny for books on your topic.

Check under "Copy Categories" ? "New Books 2016-2017" for the latest non-fiction sources.

Check the "Explore!" tab for other sources in your subject area; "TitlePeek" for in-depth descriptions about a title.

Search beyond our library for deeper research:

Search your public library online catalog. You can also request books from other libraries.
