-Minimum College Entrance Math Requirement: Algebra 2.

4 yrs. 4 yrs. -Must show completion of Geometry coursework at

an accredited, UC approved school in middle school or

2 yrs. 3 yrs. high school.

** Electives - Students need to take one class in two of these three areas for high school graduation. For college admissions, students must take World Language and Visual and Performing Arts. Many of the Applied Academics classes meet the UC "G" requirement.

PE G) Elective

2 yrs. none To be CSU and UC eligible you must meet the A-G 6-7 1 yr. requirements plus take college entrance tests

Must pass classes with a "C" or better for college.

Credit Recovery for D & F Grades

Summer Academy: English, History, PE, Algebra 1, Geometry, Biology 2 terms offered, 3 weeks = 1 term = 5 credits each term Starts in mid-June; 4 hours a day

8th Block: English, History, (Biology) 3 sessions offered per year, 10 week sessions, 2 times per week

Online accredited institutions (i.e. BYU)

Concurrent enrollment (i.e. De Anza)

Private high schools (i.e. Mitty)

1. Keep your GOALS in mind: work, community college, university, field of study

2. Remember to maintain a healthy BALANCE: school, family/friends, wellness

3. Continue to appropriately CHALLENGE yourself in your educational interests
