AGENDA
The Special Committee to Provide Advice on Private Activity Bonds will meet in an open meeting to discuss and provide recommendations to the Director of the Department of Business and Industry regarding the following items:
STACKED AGENDA: Below is an agenda of all items scheduled to be considered. Unless otherwise stated, items may be taken out of the order presented on the agenda by the discretion of the Director. Items may also be combined for consideration or pulled or removed from the agenda at any time. Persons who have business before the committee are solely responsible to see that they are present when their business is conducted. Public comments may be limited to three minutes per person at the discretion of the Director. The Committee may only take action on those items denoted as potential action items.

4. Discussion as to the role of the Advisory Board under the legislation passed in the 2019 Legislative session
5. CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS: The following reports on usage, reversions and requests for 2019 State Volume Cap by the Director, local governments and agencies receiving Volume Cap will be presented to the Committee for discussion, consideration, and approval by the Special Advisory Committee to the Director as a Consent Agenda Item. Any Committee member or member of the public may request that a specific sub-item be removed from the consent agenda and discussed, considered, and voted on individually (for possible action)
a) Carson City: Per Resolution No. 2019-R-21 Carson City would like to transfer their allocation of $2,920,671.60 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
b) Churchill County: Per Resolution No. 280-2019 Churchill County would like to transfer their allocation of $859,836.30 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
c) City of Boulder City: Per Resolution No. 6939 the City of Boulder City would like to transfer their allocation of $827,741.58 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
d) City of Caliente: Per Resolution No. 5 the City of Caliente would like to transfer their allocation of $56,478.37 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
e) City of Carlin: Per Resolution No. 2019-02 the City of Carlin would like to transfer their allocation of $136,142.05 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
f) City of Elko: Per Resolution No. 9-19 the City of Elko would like to transfer their allocation of $1,102,370.26 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
g) City of Ely: Per Resolution No. 2019-15 the City of Ely would like to transfer their allocation of $216,170.44 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
h) City of Fallon: Per Resolution No. 19-05 the City of Fallon would like to transfer their allocation of $475,429.09 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
i) City of Fernley: Per Resolution No. 19-007 the City of Fernley would like to transfer their allocation of $1,031,094.97 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
j) City of Henderson: Per Resolution No. 159 the City of Henderson would like to transfer a portion of their $16,164,276.33 allocation in the amount of $11,500,000.00 to the Nevada Housing Division through the Director’s Office. Per Resolution No. 160 the City of Henderson would like to transfer a portion of their $16,164,276.33 allocation in the amount of $4,664,276.33 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
k) City of Las Vegas: Per Resolution No. R-35-2019 the City of Las Vegas would like to transfer their allocation of $33,559,458.11 to the Housing Division. The City of Las Vegas would like $6,411,324.16 of their allocation which is transferred to the Nevada Housing Division to go toward an affordable rental housing development at 400 S. Decatur Blvd. for Nevada H.A.N.D., Inc.
l) City of Lovelock: Per Resolution No. 2019-02 the City of Lovelock would like to transfer their allocation of $102,380.07 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
m) City of Mesquite: Per Resolution No. 988 the City of Mesquite would like to transfer their allocation of $1,175,260.70 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
n) City of Reno: Per Resolution No. 8644 the City of Reno would like to transfer portions of their total allocation of $12,963,244.86 to the Nevada Housing Division through the Director’s Office with a request that $3,000,000.00 be applied toward Ridgeview by Vintage Apartments project, $3,000,000.00 be applied toward Vintage at Citi Vista Apartments and $3,000,000.00 be applied toward South Peak by Vintage Apartments.
o) City of Sparks: Per Resolution No. 3350 the City of Sparks would like to transfer their allocation of $5,217,476.03 as follows: $2,608,738.02 to the Nevada Housing Division for their Single-Family Housing Programs and $2,608,738.01 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Housing Program.
p) City of Wells: Per Resolution No. 19-06 the City of Wells would like to transfer their allocation of $71,118.98 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
q) City of West Wendover: Per Resolution No. 2019-04 the City of West Wendover would like to transfer their allocation of $229,560.61 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
r) City of Winnemucca: Per Resolution No. 2019-14 the City of Winnemucca would like to transfer their allocation of $409,311.88 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
s) City of Yerington: Per Resolution No. 2019-03 the City of Yerington would like to transfer their allocation of $178,396.62 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
t) Clark County: Per Resolution No. 8-20-19-1 Clark County would like to transfer their allocation of $52,605,798.59 as follows: $13,000,000.00 to the Nevada Housing Division for a project known as Coordinated Living of Southern Nevada, $13,000,000.00 to the Nevada Housing Division for a project known as Fairfield Residential, $13,000,000.00 to the Nevada Housing Division for a project known as Clark County BLM, $11,605,798.59 to the Nevada Housing Division for their Single Family Homeownership Programs and $2,000,000.00 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single Family Mortgage Credit Certificates.
u) Douglas County: Per Resolution No. 2019R-030 Douglas County would like to transfer their allocation of $2,556,636.20 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
v) Elko County: Per Resolution No. 2019-12 Elko County would like to transfer their allocation of $1,291,291.45 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
w) Esmeralda County: Per Resolution No. 19-R-08 Esmeralda County would like to transfer their allocation of $50,486.66 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
x) Humboldt County: Per Resolution No. 06-03-19 Humboldt County would like to transfer their allocation of $475,845.90 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
y) Lander County: Per Resolution No. 2019-08 Lander County would like to transfer their allocation of $315,997.52 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
z) Lincoln County: Per Resolution No. 2019-08 Lincoln County would like to transfer their allocation of $217,316.68 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
aa) Lyon County: Per Resolution No. 19-12 Lyon County would like to transfer their allocation of $1,684,816.48 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
ab) Mineral County: Per Resolution No. 19-016 Mineral County would like to transfer their allocation of $244,357.53 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
ac) Nye County: Per Resolution No. 2019-21 Nye County would like to transfer their allocation of $2,493,384.59 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
ad) Pershing County: Per Resolution No. 19-06-06 Pershing County would like to transfer their allocation of $254,934.19 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
ae) Storey County: Per Resolution No. 19-538 Storey County would like to transfer their allocation of $220,234.38 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
af) Washoe County: Per Resolution No. R19-039 Washoe County would like to transfer their allocation of $5,798,463.39 to the Nevada Housing Division through the Director’s Office for a project known as Dandini-Spectrum mixed use development project.
ag) White Pine County: Per Resolution No. 2019-29 White Pine County would like to transfer their allocation of $340,172.77 to the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for their Single-Family Programs.
