CityTime Training Schedule of Classes, Spring 2018
We are pleased to announce the CityTime Training Schedule of Classes for Spring 2018.
Non-NYCAPS agencies: Please complete and send the accompanying CityTime Training Request form via Remedy ticket (as you currently do today) by the Due Date specified below. Requests received after the Due Date will be scheduled for the participant's alternate date, or placed on the waitlist.
NEW PROCESS! NYCAPS agencies: Per the attached bulletin, please log into NYCAPS to waitlist your employees to attend a CityTime training session by the Due Date specified below.
Employees who originally requested training for a previous cycle and were placed on a waitlist will be enrolled to one of the corresponding April or May 2018 session(s) below.

COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
1. User/Approver for Timekeepers- (5 hrs). This course, designed for Timekeepers, will show how employees log their
time through the DCD, Web Clock, or Timesheet. It also shows how they submit Overtime and Leave requests, and update their password. The second portion of this session deals with how managers return or approve timesheets and requests, and basic reporting.
2. Timekeeper Level 1- (7 hrs). This course, designed for Timekeepers, shows the basics of Timekeeping functionality in
CityTime, including:
o Role and Responsibilities of a Timekeeper
o Correcting DCD and Web Clock punches
o ETR vs. ETR Adjustments
o Assigning a Backup Approver
o PayCalc Friday and Timekeeper Workflow
o When to Lock or Unlock Timesheets
o Basic Navigation
o Duration-Based schedules vs. Shift-Based schedules
o Creating, Modifying, Approving & Adjusting
o Working with Schedules
Others' Timesheets
o Schedule assignments
o Cancelling & Adjusting Approved Leave,
o Schedule Overrides
Overtime, and Recall Requests
o Understanding FLSA Overtime & Misc. Payments
3. Timekeeper Level 2- (7 hrs). This course, designed for Timekeepers, shows the more advanced topics of Timekeeping
functionality in CityTime, including:
o Job Management
o Reprocessing Events
o Entering LWOP for the Anticipatory
o Mid-Week Changes
