(Refreshments from 5.15pm) Described as ‘blunt, dignified and brutally moving’ by The Guardian, I, Daniel Blake tells the story of a man who has worked all his life, but now due to poor health needs help from the welfare system that he has paid into his whole working life.?The film highlights the struggles of real people in the welfare system, and the lengths they will go to survive.?Leeds Trinity University will be screening the film at 5.45pm (refreshments from 5.15pm) on Thursday 19 October free of charge.
