Thank you for purchasing our small steering wheel for 1956-1957 Ford Thunderbird. We think you will find this steering wheel a very comfortable upgrade from the original wheel. This steering wheel has been test fitted on a shaft by CASCO prior to shipping. Do not be alarmed if this steering wheel does slip on like your original wheel. It should slip on by hand enough to start the nut. Once you are able to start the nut, the nut will easily drive this steering wheel onto the shaft. If you have further questions please call our tech help at 740-622-9700 Although this wheel can be installed on a 1955, the benefits are limited because the 1955 uses a flat steering wheel and turn signal arrangement.

You can use the supplied generic medallion or swap it with an original style medallion. Stock color is black. The OD of this smaller steering wheel is 15 inches. That is 2 inches smaller than your original steering wheel. Assembly includes the scaled down horn ring shown.
