The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with exceptional people skills, and have a drive to generate immediate results. This position will focus on sales of Dandly services for all of Canada, with the focus on Alberta. The candidate will receive support from the marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.Working with clients throughout the sales process, understanding their needs and helping clients understand how Dandly’s services provide solutions.Responding to clients’ concerns and questions and providing clients with excellent service and support.Identifying new business leads, opportunities, and relationships using existing industry network and clients, in addition to identifying new opportunities where Dandly services are needed, as part of the sales and marketing team.Recording in Dandly’s CRM (Hubspot).Assisting with managing company-client relationships.Assisting with preparing reports and/or forecasts regarding account status and sales.Researching market trends, competition, and client pleting requests for proposals (RFPs).Giving input to the marketing team in the development of sales and marketing strategies and tactics.Assisting with the development and implementation of the company marketing plan.Other sales and marketing duties as required.Requirements:The following are required for this position:Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or relevant related field. Those with equivalent, long-term industry experience in sales are also welcomed and will be considered.No sales experience is required as the successful candidate will be trained on the job, but 2+ years of experience in a sales, business development, or marketing role would be an asset.Knowledge of the oil and gas industry is an asset.B2B sales experience and/or formal sales training is strongly preferred.Excellent understanding of sales principles.Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills to build good rapport with clients.Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills within all levels of an organization.Creative, friendly, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and team-oriented.High degree of professionalism.Able to manage his/her time effectively and efficiently.Able to follow directions, but also ask good questions.Active listening, presentation, and negotiation skills.Ability to work well under pressure and make responsible decisions quickly.Ability to travel.Legally entitled to work in Canada and relocate to Calgary, AB, if required.Only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
