Answer some questions about a lineage in avante garde animation, The Hubleys, FTPE:[10] John Hubley began his career at Disney, working on five of the earliest features there, but was inspired after Frank Lloyd Wright visited the studio and screened a film by Soviet animator, Ivan Ivanov-Vano. He then co-founded UPA and created this near-sighted character voiced by Jim Backus.ANSWERS: Mister Magoo[10] After a run-in with HUUAC, John was forced to leave UPA, after which he focused on making personal films like Moonbird with his wife, Faith.
